This team should have traded for Tebow because even though they’d still suck just as bad they’d atleast sell some tickets and not face being blacked out on a weekly basis this season.

The owner just bought 30,000 cardboard cutouts of fans to put in the empty seats so the stands don’t look empty on TV. Poor Miami fans are facing 8 blackouts this year, no home games on TV.

Well I dont think anyone has a reason to hate on us but even with the issues we have had this team is going no where. Neither us or the jags should go anywhere
 
Media has trashed the Dolphins at every turn because it is the vogue thing to do. Certainly, that has not helped local and national perception. We now have a well respected coach who wants to build steadily into a consistent contender. What exactly are people expecting? If nothing else, this past year has sickened me on media with an agenda and fans who are dumb enough to listen. Is everything perfect...no...but give it a chance to work under Philbin.

On a side note, the almighty Patriots had the exact same issue with ticket sales before they drafted Bledsoe with the top pick and started to turn things around. Oh, and the Colts just lost 14K season tickets this past offseason because of Manning..and they have Luck on the way.
 
You guys aren't used to pft and the fans comments? It's everyday that the team will get tore into...its as if we are picking #1 or #2...no one bashes the browns,jags,rams or any other team that has had it worse than us. It has become laughable almost to an extent.. I remember a 49er reporter said " would Alex smith rather go to a 3 or 4 win team or a team 1 game from the superbowl" I just try not to pay attention to it,but I wish there were at least another team or two that can take the constant thrashing that we get consistently. You know,distribute it just a little.
 
That's what a 0-7 start, trading Mr. Drops a lot and new coach does to the perception. I just wanna know 1 team,just 1, who went all out in free agency and won a superbowl,because that's where it seems the season starts and ends with everyone now a days
 
sad but how can we blame them? I do have a feeling that things are about to change with Philbin.....you start winning and people will stop the bashing on us.

Well big difference in going all out and not signing one guy that was a full time starter for a team last year
 
LOL... those are great.. This should put all everything associated with the Miami Dolphins (Fans, team, management, ownership) in check as perception is reality
 
The comments section on any website is where the dregs of society reside. Go on any website that has a comments section and take a look. It doesn't matter which one, just look. The stupidity level is usually off the charts. Not sure why you thought posting some from PFT (of all places) was thread worthy.
 
PFT is a joke of a site and the comments are basically a forum for trolls....

Reality is this, however.... Until the Fins, like my Bills, start contending with the Pats for the AFCE they will catch crap from other teams....

That may be a few more years when Brady slows down... But it will inevitably happen. The Jets aren't really that troublesome (they were fake good for a few years, but historically they pretty much suck)

But things are always in flux in the NFL....
