Relax, kiddies. It's the nature of the NFL for teams to cycle between good and bad. Some stay longer at the top or bottom, some have bigger swings from good to bad and back.
The Saints were famously the "Aints," and made brown paper bags famous. The Bengals were the Bungles, the Cardinals were a joke for forever, the almighty Patriots were the Patsies - year in and out the easiest games on our schedule. Detroit? Totally wasted Barry Sanders career, then went on a Matt Millen-fueled era of total incompetence.
Yes, we've had some bad breaks, bad timing, and yes, many bad decisions, that have kept us down a little longer than the norm, but believe me, this too shall pass. And I do believe we are moving in the right direction.
