PFT: Report: Authorities are looking at Mike Pouncey as more than a witness

Should we be worried for Pouncey's safety? Hernandez has tentacles that extend past the prison walls.

This actually makes the "Free Hernandez" hat make some sense. It was a sign to AH that they weren't rats, so "please don't kill us dude"

If pouncey is forced to rat on AH, it could put him in bind where one morning he goes for a drive and his brakes are cut...
 
Damn might need to draft a LT and Center next year. Just when we thought the oline can't get any worse there is a chance it just might. Have to wait to see how this plays out.

"Affiliated" is the word we use in the prison system.

I agree. They want him to turn states evidence. The problem may be that they have something bad enough on him that he may get suspended, regardless of whether the state/feds go after him.

Maybe ...if he rolls. Judging by the way the hat thing was handled, I'm not so sure he does.

The prosecutors have let others involved in the case remain free while giving them some time to decide whether to be helpful. I'm pretty sure I've read that at least one has been arrested since refusing to cooperate.

They have the fact that Pouncey destroyed his surveillance video, they have the text messages from the victim, they have a toll booth photo, the bubble gum/rental car stuff, ballistics on the bullet identify it as being fired from a Glock, a photograph of Hernandez showing off a Glock, ammunition found in the house that matches what was removed from the body ...Hernandez is done.
 
At this point there is no reason to believe Pouncey will be charged with anything. There is a far better chance that Pouncey is going as a witness against Hernandez than them having something on Pouncey. He could catch a charge if they think he knows something but won't tell them but I doubt it. He would likely tattle even if that happens. Not really worried

Im not a LEO. I'm a prison guard. Obviously, this doesn't mean hes guilty, but at the time
of the hat thing, I pretty much was of the opinion that if it walks, quacks and has feathers, there's
a good chance it's a duck. The thing about trouble is that if you go looking for it, you will probably
find it.
 
Yep. It does sound about right. Figures that out of all the money and 1st rounders thrown at OL on this team, the only OL worth a damn would get caught up in illegal activity and possibly be off the team in the future. If this was a comedy show it would be very, very funny.

Sounds like some Al Bundy luck to me.
