Philbin is my guy.. here's why

Leadership is important but Patton was a leader. Do you want him as the HC?.....
Hell yeah. 20 years later, if he'd gone into football instead of the military. He would have succeeded. Leaders are leaders.

i will be so happy if philbin comes and brings clements, that will spark the offense fast

If Philbin leaves, I am sure the Packers would promote Clements to OC. Doubt he follows Philbin across the country, uproots his family, and goes to a worse team just to take the same job. I think if we do hire Philbin it is a sign we will go after Flynn, not quite sure how I feel about that considering he has a relatively small sample size. Doesn't mean we'll end up with Flynn though. Thats on Ireland to offer him the best contract. Flynn will not come here just because of Philbin, he will go where the money is

The reason Clements might want to come here is so he can be a true offensive coordinator and call the plays. Mike McCarthy is the one that calls the plays in Green Bay and that won't change.

ok, I'm trying to make a point here. Would you like the guy that started the Bloods as your HC? he was a leader too....lol

Ozzy rules!!

 Actually, maybe i would. You can't say the opposing team wouldn't be intimidated.

I suppose becoming the Packers 2nd stringers is a rung up from being the Cowboys 2nd stringers

well, Ross wants a high powered offense and who out there would have the mindset to make that happen?

Brian Billick? Jon Gruden? Jay Gruden?

Did they ever have high powered offenses? only once possibly when Jon had that castoff in oakland who ended up being top five.

I am all for Philbin. He made them impressed and is on the final list. He knows the adjustment game. He has coached QB's and WR's. HC can be leaders by doing rather than bitching. meaning, you replace the wrong with the right by action. Guys who want to continue successfully cannot rely on people who dont back them up on the field. I dont see cam cameron here. I see more Sean Peyton.

the question is what kind of pull would he have to put together a quality staff, if he can bring the packers offense, matt flynn, and find a quality DC then I will possibly open up to this idea, I just hope he can lead men, I hope he can be disciplined, I hope he can command a lockeroom, there are a lot of qualitys you need to have to be a head coach and mike zimmer had them, I dont understand why he was eliminated.

im starting to get more and more worried that ireland can't gauge personalities. they thought chad henne could succeed.

dolphins fans have short memories. first its give an average HC personnel power, now its bring in the guy who is known as an X's and Os offensive guru but who does not seem to have the spark of a head coach.

He doesn't coach the D. That's Dom Capers. Plus they have a bad defense talent wise compared to us that's for sure!

What? I would take B.J. Raji over Soliai any day. I would also take Charles Woodson over any DB we have. Clay Matthews...yeah I'd take him over Wake or any linebacker we have. Morgan Burnett, look at his stats and tell me he didn't make more plays than either one or our safeties. That team has a lot more playmakers on defense than we do. I think it was more Dom Capers scheme...like when he was here in 2007 under Cameron and sucked, that was the problem. Still that defense came up with 31 INTs and 7 fumble recoveries. We had 16 INTs and 3 fumble recoveries.

the big issue is they don't have depth at LB, and NOBODY who can rush the passer outside of Matthews. Also doesn't help that some key guys from last year's run had bad years
