If a dolphin falls on the fumble on last drive everything is not criticized and everything is positive and Philbin called a good game.
not true philbin needs to go this is 5 out of 6 games the team has come out and not started playing until the 2nd halfIf a dolphin falls on the fumble on last drive everything is not criticized and everything is positive and Philbin called a good game.

The QB was not good in the first half, but what was good on offense? We had what, like 1 yard per rush in the first half? Could not do ANYTHING right. Why is that? How many times do we have to see this?
I'm liking this post a lotPhilbin is clueless. Its situation football which is supposed to be practiced all week long. The Defense has the major advantage because they can rotate in and out and the offensive line, and Receivers for the most part stays in tact on offense. If anyone was gassed, it would of been more the Packers than the Dolphins. In a situation like that, coming off of a sack, the Packerss with NO time outs left, and were clearly confused about getting in a play call, with the play clock TICKING down. And with the Defense having all the momentum and would be riding the rush of the previous play...As a Head Coach you do NOT under any CIRCUMSTANCE call a time out and give the Offense time to regroup coming off of a sack.
Philbin makes my stomach turn on how clueless he really is. What does this guy do all week long in practice? Situations like this are supposed to be practiced all week. Yet every single time Philbin gets in a crunch time situation, he blows it with flying colors.
Imagine how much Philbin would crumble in a big time game. He is garbage and should be shown the door immediately after this game for showing what a horrible decision maker he is.
I was going to create a new thread but will just put this here...
For the amount of flack that Tannehill gets in that he is wildly inconsistent... As well as people saying he has not progressed at all in three years, why do we not see the same amount of blame on Philbin? Tannehill hasnt progressed but neither has Philbin and Philbin is holding this team back just as much as Tannehill is. If I had to chose today who to keep and who to fire, I'd keep Tannehill and would get rid of Philbin as IMO Philbin is a worse HC than Tannehill is QB.
It's because there is extremely little chance of Philbin being replaced in time to save the season, and even if he was fired the chance that an interim coach could salvage this season is slim to none. With Tannehill, most of us feel that there is at least a possibility or improvement that is on this roster right now, considering the guy backing him up has slight better stats and career record. Plus it happens in many places in this league that when a mediocre QB is replaced the guy coming in, even if he has his own shortcomings, can light a fire simply by not having the same shortcomings of his predecessor which has come to define the team.
I see more potential for improvement in the QB position THIS SEASON than I do from head coach, and if Tannehill exits the picture this year and it is proven that another QB can get this roster to play better, it will save us from suffering from Ryan Tannehill's shortcomings even after Philbin is inevitably fired by season's end.
What is Jim Bates doing these days? He would make a fine interim coach.
