Philip Merling on the Trade Block

don't kid yourself. Samuel would instantly be our #1 corner

Samuel and Davis would duke it out. Davis is more of a man guy while Samuel plays more zone. Davis doesn't get the INTs the Samuel does but Davis is a great, great corner.

For those of you that say Merling has no value: If a team is about to release a good TE because they have great depth, and need a DE, then a Merling for TE trade is conceivable. The Dolphins do not have to release Merling. His value is increased because 1) there are few roster worthy DEs (especially those that can play both a 3-4 and 4-3) which are going to be released and 2) there seems to be quite a few quality TEs which may be released. A trade will ensure that both teams get what they need. Supply and demand.

What happened to the Brett Brackett theory, lol.

Its all a facade. we are pleading for a TE. like we need one, but our Ace in the hole Brackett will come out against the Patriots and being he is 7'4 and 330 pounds and runs the 40 in 3.8
will score 8 TDS and Sprano will do 8 windmill fist pumps and say Surprise!!! Gotcha!!!!

and then the entire coaching staff and Sparano will laugh like Dr Evil and his henchmen
