Phins Current Hardest Hitters

Thomas doesnt really hit that hard anymore he is more of a finesse tackler..
Yeap, when Trung Canidate runs over you then its hard to be proclaimed a hard hitter.

Zach has changed as he has gotten older, but some fans have not noticed.

If anyone says Madison, he/she is banned!

Taylor, especially from the blind side.

anyone can hit hard from the blindside, one thing about JT is he is a solid tackler but he doesnt hit anyone with pop, maybe one out of every 10 tackles might rattle some pads

IMO, I'd have to go with Seau, Zach (I know he's slowed down but can put a lick someone). On the offensive side of the ball, if he can regain his form, I'd have to put Ricky on the list. I also believe that Brown can develop into a punishing RB.

Edit: I can't believe I forgot Bua :o

Last year we drafted the two hardest hitters in the draft, Tony Bua and Derrick Pope.

Tebucky Jones was a big part of Bill Belichick's gameplan in Super Bowl XXXVI. Belichick believed the Rams receivers could be intimidated and ordered they be hit every time they caught or got near a pass. And he was right. I remember Jones setting the tone early in that one, annihilating Torry Holt on one of the game's first plays.

sorry guys, theres no way zach is the hardest hitter on the team.... thats simply isnt his style. Safeties get harder hits than him.

Seau, Jones

o darn i forgot about beastly bua, that hit is still making me laugh becuase it was so funny seing that ram fly like 4 feet:lol:

Tony bua got 2 for 1 with that hit if my memory serves me right

I'm glad you brought up Derrick Pope, Muck, because that guy probably gets my vote as the hardest hitter among the linebackers, right now...although I look forward to seeing if Crowder can take that title. Zach hasn't been the hard hitter you guys describe for like 3 years, although it is hard to say whether he has changed or whether Bates' scheme had him reading and reacting too much instead of attacking.

Tony Bua and Tebucky Jones, as mentioned, are the headhunters of the safety group.

Matt Roth can indeed be an animal on the hits, I've watched him on highlights just about murder the quarterback and some runningbacks. But, I usually don't include DLs in the "hardest hitter" category because lets face it, they ALL are supposed to be hard hitters, and if they weren't they couldn't play on DL.

If we 're talking about hits to opposing players: Bua, Pope, Jones, Williams, Seau.
If we're talking about hits to DolFans confidence: Wannstedt (gone, but the hits we took from him will leave a long lasting impression), Carey, Smith, Whitley, McKinney
