This isn't hyping? Let me guess, you go to UCF, right?

I hope he does well and makes the team (as I do all of our pick-ups).

My point is, this board seems to be full of a bunch of folks whom seem to think every UDFA we have picked up is an instant top this or top that on this team. Reality is that most of them won't even be here in September.

Didn't mean to flame you, but it's just getting old.

I have seen the info on Bigby and will not dispute that he can hit. I just don't think you can call him "on of our hardest hitters now" when he hasn't even had one practice in pads at the pro-level yet.

I do hope he becomes one of our hardest hitters and adds some value beyond August.

i remember a game in the snow against the pats, fiedler overthrows to lamar smith inside the 5, lamar catches the ball, gets hit by tebucky jones and then fumbles, i will never forget that hit

He definatly isnt one of our greater players... and I wasnt sayin that he is a great saftey (although I think he as alot of potential) I really hope he makes the team and honestly believe he will. But I was just sayin that the kid can hit... and everyone will see that in TC who hasnt already seen him play... like you... ;)

Zach is average to above average player, but no longer special. However many fans still see him as being special. I just disagree

One fluke play and you no longer think Zach is special? He missed 3 games last season and still finished 4th in the league in tackles. If he is only an average to above average player, what does that make Ray Lewis who played in 2 more games than Zach but only had 1 more tackle?

You should read this article, it was written for people like you: http://www.finheaven.com/cms/144.html

give me a list of how you would place the players on the dolphins that are the hardest hitters

Pope
Thomas
Seau
Bua (when he's not hurting)
and now T. Jones

Thomas doesnt really hit that hard anymore he is more of a finesse tackler.

Seau hits hard and Tebucky Jones can hit. Tony Bua as well.

I agree. Thomas is a sound tackler, but by choice or necessity, he doesn't hit the same way he used to.

Tony Bua is, imo, the biggest hitter. Crowder may emerge as one, but until he's on the field, it's Bua.

Of course, Saban's defense may provide more opportunities for hitting from all the players, so that will be interesting to see.
