Dolphins signed LB Terence Garvin, formerly of the Seahawks.
Garvin played 195 snaps last season, making three starts. Miami has one of the worst linebacker groups, but Garvin should focus on special teams.

Sounds like a solid special teamer from older rotoworld posts I read about him:

the problem we've had is our special teams aces were an absolute disaster when forced to play defense. Keeping players like Mike Hull and Michael Thomas off the field defensively is a great thing.

Exactly. People complain (often correctly) depth is weak. But, if Miami signs a guy as backup, the complaint is they should focus on starters. If this ends up being a LB upgrade AND a ST guy, I'll not complain.

he won't be by the end of training camp. might as well keep him for a camp body for now.

We need to keep on mind that we lost some core ST players this off season so we need help there. This might not sound like much but ST's are a big part of your team. Like someone said above. Darn if you do and darn if you don't.
