Because every situation is different. How the quarterback plays isn't a cut and dried thing.
Again, there's nothing wrong with having standards and nothing wrong with being pissed when those standards aren't met. But the guys who said he had talent and could turn out to be good and got killed for saying it deserve the credit if they turn out to be right just as they would get the blame if they were wrong. Taking a stand subjects you to that risk. And that reward. Just as taking a stand that the guy blows and needs to be replaced subjects you to that risk and that reward.
Now if you're saying you never took that stand on him, that you were/are judging him week to week and had no overall evaluation, then fine. But is that what you're really saying?
As for the "Henne Haters" label. I doubt if you searched my posts you would find that term. I stayed out of most of these debates for the sake of my own sanity the fact that I don't like having to buy a new computer because I broke the one I have smashing it against a brick wall. But posters I like and respect, like RobertHorry, got subjected to a lot of abuse and condescension. It's important to me that people like him get the credit if the thing turn out roses and that the people who thought otherwise not weasel out of what they said and thought.
What I'm saying is we've played one game and Chad Henne played very very well and the "homers" and coming after the "haters" hard.
But when week after week after week Henne played terrible, the "homers" didn't want to hear it lol.
