I'm not a fan of players on the Miami Dolphins...but Eric Berry is easily my favorite player in the NFL...outside of Matt Bosher.

I would have given up and entire draft for that kid. He was my favorite player in college football as well outside of a couple of Hurricane players...namely Matt Bosher.

If Chad Henne becomes a franchise QB...I'll love being wrong for a change. This team and this city means A LOT to me. It always will. I was born into this. And it has been open season on the homers. And the reason for that is because Henne's poor performances FAR outweigh his even average performances.

Which made it all the more difficult a position to advocate. I was (and continue to) hang on to my evaluation of him as a college player there pretty hard. But then again, I'm pretty goddamn stubborn. To the point of stupidity at times.

As a huge Canes and Vols fan, I can say Eric Berry was insane in college. Was everywhere, making every play and punishing everybody he hit. I wanted him here so bad. He will be one of the greats at safety before it's all said and done.
 
Not sure how any Canes fan who watched Bosher while he was there can not have him as a top 5 favorite NFL player IMO. Dude can tackle better than 95% of the Canes team right now :lol:

Talked to him on Facebook after Atlanta's last preseason game. I've been waiting to catch him on again so I can make jokes about Hester falling down because he seen Matt bearing down on him.

I agree wholeheartedly. He will be the next Ed Reed or Polamalu, because their time is almost done.
