Pick our poison

I believe he was refering to the year before last (2000) when Favre went 21/34 for 194 Yards, 0 TD's and 1 INT. Was sacked twice and fumbled once.

That was 2000? My how the playoff season after playoff season just blurs these days ;)

Ah that's right......it was the game following that Jets debaucle at the Meadowlands.

i say Miami needs to stop the run, we got the best CBs

I agree, first stop Green cold like we did to Priest Holmes, and force Favre to throw put pressure on him with the injured Knee. If you remember we didn't get any pressure on T. Green he had all day to throw, thats the reason we lost the game, and he also ran for a few 1st downs. Greenbays line is not going to be able to protect Favre like KC protected Green. And our pass rush is much better now, and we now have P.Surtain. Of course this all means nothing if Lucas can't throw the ball again. If he can't Ricky isn't going to be able to do much because Greenbay is going make Lucas throw. Same result if we get down by more than 10 points.

OK, a different thought for you all: IF Favre gets shut down and IF Green gets beaten all night, then the Packers might only score once, right?? That's both their options gone.

BUT, if the Pack stop Ricky Williams, how will the Dolphins score anything??

"... and Ray Lucas wins the game!!!" yeah, right.

Come on.....are you going to tell me that Ray Lucas is no better than what he showed last game? The man IS 7-3 as a starter in this league, right? Let's not write him off for one lousy game.
;) :D

Speaking of DB's: Who has the most interceptions in the last year and a half? Darren Sharper, SS, Green Bay Packers w/ 18.

Lucas might not be that bad, I hope for the sake of the AFC East he ISN'T that bad!
But when, if ever, has a QB come back from a game THAT bad to win the following week? (with the bye too)

I'm tipping the Packers will throw everything they've got at Ricky, and take their chances with Lucas possibly beating them through the air. ;)

He MAY be 7 - 3 as a starter, but evidently he is not consistent enough to get the starting QB role where ever he goes.

Didn't he miss a couple of practices this past bye week? Forgot why though.

I can fully understand why you want him to improve his performance from the last game, but I would not expect him to come out like a MVP either.

Excellent point DownUnder.

Look no further than Jay Feidler...

the new york game last year...
24/36 0TD's, 3INT's 44.7 Rating

Next Week won with a..
18/31 3TD's, 0INT's 117.9 Rating

----------------

and 12/17/2000 against Indy he went...
12/25 0TD's, 1 INT, 50.4 Rating

Next week won with a...
30/45 1TD, 0INT's, 89.5 Rating

There are a few other example where he played worse and won the next week, but he also won the week he stunk it up in those examples. (LOL)

Who has the most over the past 5 years?

Heres a hint, he plays in a slightly warmer climate than Green Bay. ;)

Maybe the best approach should be to stop Green. Packers will be in maximum "protect the franchise" mode this week which probably means shotguns, short drops and mostly short quick stuff into your linebackers. Haven't I read that the linebackers are the weak part of your passing defense? The Packers are pretty good at that type of game and Farve has shown the patience to execute it this year.

But Barbarian, Jay isn't playing Monday is he? World of difference between Jay and Ray.

Isn't Jay suppose to be back in a couple of weeks? His cast should be coming off soon, and then he will just have to get the strength back in the hand which should not take long.
