Teams don't get this bad over night. Wanny spent 4 years creating this mess before his GM responsibilities were stripped.

Amen brother.

Wanny has had 4 years.

You would think with all the Defensive drafting priorities during his regime, we would have very good depth on the defense. We didn't acquire some of our best backups (Poole, Howard, Edwards and some of the DLine beef) until this year (Rick's tenure).

How many offensive super stars did Wanny draft? TWO... Chambers and McMichael.

The quality depth we have at WR (Booker and Boston - Pro Bowlers) were acquired on Rick's watch.

Who gave away 2 #1s for Ricky? Wanny. Not Rick.

The reason we are encountering our problems this year is 2 reasons:
1) NO experienced depth AND ENOUGH quality starters on the OLine
2) NO suitable replacements for TimBo on the DLine

TimBo has been THE run stopping force on the DLine. It's apparent either by age, injury or $$$$, TimBo will not be here much longer. When was WANNY planning on replacing him?

Rick only has so many draft picks. He can't fill everything in one year.

These problems exist because Wanny has fumbled and bumbled so many of our previous drafts, the lack of young stars is starting to show.

Sure, yea... boo hoo, we let Ogun leave. But, we did SHIFT our spending philosophy more to the offensive side with Booker and Gordon. Keeping Ogun would have only keep the chip$$$ stacked in the D's favor. BTW, how is Ogun doing?

Just remember, catastrophes do not happen overnight. They are the result of many YEARS of bad decisions.

Wayne dropped the ball this year. He was too indecisive about the CORRECT future of this club. I honestly feel he wanted Dan in place to have a "football" face making the tough decisions later. It's sad to say, but I believe the fans should have taken notice to Dan's quick change of heart. I definitely believe he saw the internal structure and decision making processes within the organization. He saw the turmoil and mismanagement taking place and decided he did not want any association with it.

One day this will all play out completely and we will hear SOME FORM of truth. I must say however, I have never expected so much disarray on a team. If this continues... I foresee a complete mutiny on our hands. Players yelling, coaches yelling, ... things are not headed in a positive direction.

The sooner this regime is over, the better.

I support Rick, but I would completely clean house of EVERY coach and assistant after this year. Don't even get started about Bates... STATS DON'T WIN GAMES.

Some times, you have to start over... from scratch. A complete house cleaning would remove the smell. It would also pave the way for players to buy into a new system a lot quicker.

I just hope Wayne sees the light before it's too late.

Last night they proved it again this game should have been won by the D. Madison's lack of control was the last straw he cost the fins the game not Feeley.
Give me a freakin' break. You're NOT going to win if your offense can't score more than 3 freakin' points!

This defense is currently ranked 5th.

The offense? 31st - that's right - there is actually ONE team below us: the 3-0 Jaquars - go figure.

Any coach that is playing in terrible weather conditions, with a killer D, a horrible O line...... decides to punt on 4th and in and then allows the CROWD tochange his mind is a disgrace. :shakeno:

I wanted him to go for it too. Who would've thought we were so bad that we couldn't even pick up 2 inches...?

What more did you people expect him to do in ONE OFFSEASON?

As I recall, this was a popular move until 7.5 days ago...

Why should there be ANY blame for this? He has looked just as good as anybody else, and he has less than a month in the system.

You really think Wale is worth that? I'm glad YOU'RE not the GM...

This is the one thing I believe Rick handled unacceptably poorly. One out of all the deals he made isn't bad.
Feeley sucks. Macintosh sucks. He knew Wade Smith sucks. St. Claire sucks.
Feeley is sucking...Especially for that 2nd round pick... Gordon behind this line, is not all his fault..but I'm not sure he's exactly a 3rd round pick material. Carey isn't even playing. Gave up an extra pick to go get him...Rick has done a very sh1tty job thus far. Sure, he's brought Boston (a question mark), Jeno James (still waiting for him to block for more than a few plays a game), and that's about it...But overall, he's not welcome to stay. If we change coaches this offseason..(And I hope and pray that we will!) Rick should be shown the door as well. Let the coach get who HE wants or do the recruiting himself.

Dude, it would be all the above but Wanny is definately most responsible, he is the one who ignored the O-line for four years and let it degrade to this point.

We have had adequate Depth at Defensive line. We were one of the first to use a rotating system. We have David Bowens, Jay Williams, Bryan Robinson, Zgonina, and a few others....

The front four haven't been the problem so far. So I don't see how you can blame losing on not have an adequate replacement at DT. If one goes down (Bowens) you should have a decent back-up. If two go down (Bowens, Chester) well- any team would be hurting.

Two years ago, Ted Washington was a stud on NE. He got injured, as did some NE Defensive line starters. NE didn't make the SuperBowl...

As far as the O-Line - that need was glaringly apparent two years ago. Going into last season with Ruddy, Perry, Nails & an iffy Mark Dixon (who never did play) - that was a downfall last year.

Fact is the rest of the NFL realizes how important the O-Line is. So there is a lot less of quality linemen becoming FA's. However with Wanny being a former O-Lineman, I've always been surprised that he doesn't put much effort into findig a good one.

We're also on our fourth RB because of injuries.... there ain't many teams that would be able to overcome that. And we have yet to see our starting FB. Actually, you can call Leonard Henry our 5th RB, because that's where he was when #34 was wearing a Uniform.

True that. That's the only reason he changed his mind, too! As soon as we all went, "booooooooooooo!" he took a dump and called that unneccesary time out cause he got scared and confused and then decided to change the play.:shakeno:

Popular amongst who? Not me or anyone I know, only these Fiedler hating people on here.
Martz drafted Faulk's replacement because he knew Gordon was inconsistent and injury prone. Then he robbed our 3 rd pick.
I think that the dolfins should have tried harder to re-sign him, and in the end they got ripped off by Chicago.

How did we get ripped off? We traded an UNDRAFTED DE for Marty Booker and Lamar Gordon.

Look at the BIG picture.

AJ cannot get the ball to Booker, Chambers or McMichael.
Gordon cannot get positice yardage from the LOS

What do these two things have in common? The O-LINE!

Give AJ and LG a chance - with a line that can block - before you call either one of them a bust.

BIG PICTURE!!!!!

Among these three, I have it at:
50% Wanny
48% Wayne
2% Rick

Good split...
I may have it somewhat like this though...

55% Wanny
40% Wayne
7% Rick

I mean we can only blame Wayne so much...He's an owner and he's learning from all of this...His job is to pick a coach and let the coach coach...and that is what he's done, whats done after that he has no control of whatsoever...He did pick the wrong coach, but he should learn from it...However, if he lets Wanny play out his contract, then the blame will start to lean more on him than anything.

I can't believe injuries aren't a voting option. Wanny & co may be the reason we can't win more than 9-10-11 games and maybe even why we are doing poorly in the playoffs.....but this poor start is because of injuries IMO & Ricky.
Boston, Williams, Surtain, Bowens, Konrad, Chester, McIntosh, Atkins, etc...all have missed time with injuries

We've had injuries in the past with just as much talent on the team and we would still win more games then we have this year...Besides, every team has injuries.

Perfectly summed up.
Nothing more to add.
Someone please show Wannstedt the door.
He can take his boy Jay and they can be a package deal for another team looking to nosedive.

Hey Rebar in bad weather the advantage goes to the D.
I already know we have a bad O but lets face it,was that not a rook starting at Qb, have you seen the steelers stats in O.
By the way give a stat that measures heart, they don't have it the D b!tches because they play hard and point the finger at the O poor poor little girlymen.

Rebar you make my point in your comment "Teams don't get this bad overnight" you are right on the money.
Look what the Pats org has done in 5 years, lok at what Wanny has done.
IT'S A CRIME!!!!!

The one common theme to this is caving to public pressure. While most of the time, the public is right, selling out to:

1. Replace fiedler

2. Draft OL

3. Replace Ricky

4. Replace Thompson

Resulted in the loss of a lot of picks.

Just ask yourself one thing.

WWBD? What would bellychick do?
