Players media blitz "a mutiny"

I anticipate a blowout of Tampa Bay based on the unity that created.

The local guys are losing their story with Martin looking more and more of a fake victim, so their stirring up a new angle, a MUTINY!!!

Hahaha .... there is so much wagon circling coordination going on right now, everything is planned. Mando sucks.

Both Dave Hyde and Omar said the same thing. They both said they haven't seen a group as galvanized by something as this group has become by this. Hopefully that rings true on the field Monday and we immolate Tampa.

I thought I heard from Hartline (and it was being reported on NFL Network) that the players were told to be open and honest.

Yes that's what they said to talk freely and express how they felt honestly.

Joe better figure it out or he will have players doing whatever they want on game day.

Figure what out Hayden? It's cut and dry.

Sucks to wish something to be true but isn't huh?

Going off what Philbin says shows he is distancing himself from their comments. Easy to assume he didn't know about it and doesn't support those sentiments.
If you want you can also interpret as Philbin telling the players to say what they want to defend themselves and use the media to rally the team as "us against the world".

I am reserving any reports by Darlington because he's the same reporter who provided text from Martin saying he didn't blame Cogs, yet we see Cogs has been suspended.
You can keep making assumptions, but I'll stick to facts thank you.

I saw the same report. Add in Wakes comments about Joe and the players feeling angry about the media attacking their locker room, their coach, and this is not a team divided.

Of course the only definitive way to express that on a national level is to beat down Tampa. That will prove things are focused and in control.

As we discussed in the other thread, you too are assuming and inferring with Joes comments today. How do you know he doesn't support those comments? Are you in on the team
meetings? Saying the players comments stand on their own while also saying he told the players to be honest hardly supports your theory.

Seems your just as guilty about not waiting for facts.

The Dolphins management, which includes Joe Philbin, is embroiled in a tough legal situation right now. You think Joe Philbin is going to say ANYTHING but "I don't know what they said, I didn't hear the comments?"

Yeah, I'm sure Joe hates that the players spoke up, and the team management is upset that they said anything... and that's why the team has plastered the interviews all over the official website AND is posting PR pieces on that same website with quotes from the players. Sure.

Maybe they use this as motivation and go 8-0 the rest of the way, like the Pats did after Spy gate.
That would just eat up ESPN and all the other northeastern media outlets that root for the Pats and NY teams.

I also said that Philbin could be using the media to band his team together and told them to be honest with the media and then let their statements stand alone.
I don't see that being true right now though and I'm sticking to what Philbin said in his interview and the impression I got was he didn't know it was coming.

Just look at the front page of Miamidolphins.com.

Just look at it. Just. Look. At. It.

BIG headline on the sidebar and also in the news feed: "Fins Leaders Speak Up And Take Charge; Read Here"

Dolphins.com featured video headline: "Tannehill Speaks Out On Incognito & Martin"

Yeah, team management is FURIOUS with these guys.

Have they ever withheld player interviews on the website before?
And like I suggested in my post, it could be Philbin using the media to help band his team together.
I still believe Philbin was caught off guard and didn't see it coming. I haven't seen any evidence to that yet though.
