Players media blitz "a mutiny"

BRB, growing Mr. Fantastic arms and grasping for straw in another county.

Your argument still holds no water.

The coaches may be furious but the Dolphins PR and Ross are supportive of the players because they are the only ones in this whole mess that are innocent.
The Dolphins PR and organization's fate are not tied together to that of Philbin's.

So you can keep grasping straws.

So you're theory is that the ownership/management and coaches are not together on this issue? Alrighty then....

Why would they be? Why would Ross vouch for either Ireland or Philbin if he doesn't know what happened?
Ross brought outside investigators to get the truth and if Philbin or Ireland have shown negligence or wrong doing, they'll go down alone.

What J. Martin has done is just flat out punk azz. It's what a little insecure person would do. We all have times where we have to face a little adversity in life. It builds character. Didn't most of us have dads who told us that there comes a time when you have to grow up, and if someones keeps messing with you and bullying you, that you have to fight back. Nobody condones racism, but I think if you take a look at the context of Incognito's messages to Martin, they were anything but threatening or racist. The Phin's players have Richie's back. If Martin would have just convened an O-lineman's meeting and had issues with Richie, they could have settled it there. But NOOOO, Martin had to air out his dirty laundry and run to the media, when he lost his job. He's a little punk.

Let's stop trying to act like we know what we don't know.

Ownership/PR team may of told philbin to tell the players not to say anything, and philbin might of told them that with a "wink" for all we know.

I'm tired of "dolphin fans" constantly trying to find ways to rip this team, in my eyes the team and players have done everything they were suppose to do by incognito and martins side, and for the best of the team.

I'm proud of how this team has handled this, you guys should be too.

Are you seriously asking why all of the Fins front office and ownership would have a reason to be on the same page concerning this matter? Really?

Well here's your mutiny. Stop listening to the media, theyare trying to rip this team apart.

“@JeffDarlington: Brian Hartline says Joe Philbin did "phenomenal job" explaining to players "to stick up for yourselves," which led to yesterday's comments.”

Amd if yiur one of those dolphins fams who's been listening tk the media, it's time to start sticking up for your damn team already.

Armando sees the national media attention as the opportunity to promote himself in a brighter spotlight as the top investigative Dolphin reporter.
The players were clearly permitted to open up yesterday. There is no issue of the players disobeying Philbin orders. Armando is putting his spin on it and is wrong, AGAIN!

Philbin told them to keep quiet on scandal, players united to clear Incognito's name anyway

I don't see a mutiny. I see a HC giving his players very sound advice, because there is a NFL investigation around the corner. I then see the players simply having enough of the team, players and coaches being drug through the mud. In short they (players) were tired of being bullied by the media.

In a legal matter you're not gonna vouch for someone if they could possibly be caught doing something wrong.
You think Ross will stand behind Ireland if this report of him telling Martin to punch Incognito turns out to be true?

This statement coupled with Armando's retraction lead me to believe Philbin is using the media to unite these guys.

Geez philbin tells them to speak their piece, and they take shots back at the media. Then the media in its usual shameless way takes that and tries to.say the players ignored philbins request? I mean really though, at this point its feeling like some media members have a personal grudge against the dolphins.

What I'm saying is Ross is the boss. Ireland Philbin, etc. are his employees. If you don't think Ross' crack team of lawyers on retainer haven't already orchestrated every move the entire Fins orgainzation is making...well maybe we're done here. Nobody is lone-wolfing anything in this situation. They are all on the same page.

I caught it before, but we've been burned by a Darlington report before so I was waiting to see if anyone else would report it.

And I do now believe that Philbin is using the media to unite these guys. It's a brilliant move.

They're not ont he same page for this lawsuit, there is an outside investigator.

They are all on the same page when it comes to football, but not on this potential lawsuit.
