Troy Vincent and Sam Adams aren't has-beens?

As far as I know, most of our pickups this year have signed for 1 year.

The only reason there are Bills fans on this website is to disagree with all of us. They'll claim they're here to talk football, but deep down you should wonder why they're on a Phins site. Honestly I have no curiosity as to what a Bills or Jets site is about. I don't care about what any of their fans have to offer. So why do they?

Sam Adams went to the probowl last year.

Sam Adams is still more productive than ANY DT on your roster.

Lance Schulters a better FS than Vincent? He hasn't had an INT since 2002. Vincent is a play-maker on defense, he's getting older but he's still been more productive than Schulters. Moving to FS will keep him in the league longer as well.

BTW- 1 year deals mean they're a stop-gap pick-up. Which is exactly what I said before.

Yes but Flutiemania didn't start until Rob stunk up the joint, and Doug got to play. Regardless if you like Flutie or not he accomplised two things,

1) He was the major cause of Moulds breakthrough, before the season there was talk that he was a bust and would possibly be cut.

2) He kept the team in Buffalo, if it wasn't for "Flutiemania" that team was history.
I know what DF accomplished. He wasn't gonna take us any further than a 1st rd.

Rob stunk up the joint and it was Wade and co. who thought that he was worth a 1st. Not the fans. I have yet to hear any fan then and now say that he was gonna be a great one. He had potential, that's it.

Our depth on the O-Line sucks? Take a look at your teams depth at OL.

Assuming a starting line of:

Carey, James, McKinney, Hadnot, McDougle

Current reserves on OL:

McIntosh - 4 years as a starter, can backup both tackle spots
St Clair - 2 years as a starter, can backup almost every spot on the line
Cook - six starts last year
Smith - 18 career starts
Whitley - 11 starts last year

I'd say that the Fins have quite a bit more depth.

that's saying we are fine at the qb position. You're the only one who ever said we might need a qb. Everyone seems to think Holcomb is an able back-up qb. If Mularkey can make porbowlers out of Kordell and Maddox I think Holcomb will suffice.

So, what the **** you think Nick is going to do with our entire team?? Murlakey couldn't hold Nick's Jock strap..The Dolphins are way more talented than the bills..Period..You live in fantansy land if you believe other wise. Let me ask a question? How can you possible say Carter, Jones, and Schulters are washed up..That's crazy..Why is everone else saying they are solid pickups, except for you..Are you almighty and just know more than everyone else. Nick is 50 times smarter than you and I trust his judgement and opinions on who we sign alot more than I trust yours. Your organization is pathetic..Murlakey will never take you guys anywhere..And you are acting like we are signings these vets for big contracts or something..In my eyes you are just a hater..

Needs:
LT
Backup RB
DT
more production from DE (too much blitzing needed to get pressure)

Questionable areas:
Center, LG (both average at best)
QB
3rd & 4th WRs
TE
FS (Vincent has no experience)
Depth in many areas (especially LB, secondary, OL)

You need to remember that no team makes it through the season injury free. You backup LBs have almost no playing experience. Rashad Baker got smoked when he played. Coy Wire is a major weakness. Your OL backups have either no experience (Peters, MacFarland) or suck (Pucillo, Smith). Backup RBs are a total joke.

Boo Yah..

Other than Kevin Carter, none of the other names got what I consider "big money" or 3 year contracts. If their was other teams in the NFL offering these things to these players they would be somewhere else.

Please tell me what happens if Willis get's hurt again ? Who are you turning to..And one thing you guys are not taking into account is the great Draft we just had. Factor in those young players along with these vets, than we had a complete offseason..I always think it's smart to reload every year, atleast for depth, you which you guys have none..The Bills are going to get their *** kick..

this thread should be moved to a bills forum the way it's going........who cares about the bills. Good for ya. You're the best. yada yada. James / Alexander and many other FAs wanted to come to Miami but we didn't want to overpay any 'one' of them and not have money to get more FAs to fill in more holes. What's the friggin point with all the Bill's crap?

....once again, I read a comment like this and glance over @ the age of the poster and expecting them to be in there teens......once again I'm disappointed.......:shakeno:

as far as the bills

they couldn't even beat pittsburghs b team to get in the playoffs last year. they lost 4 superbowls in a row. they have a murderer for a running back hero. just a plain loser team.:fire:

Well Kevin Carter has had more sacks and more tackles in the last 2 years then Sammy has so i dont kno about tht one.

INTs dont nessecarily mean hes worse. Madison had a grand total of 0 INTs last year but in my mind clearly outperformed Pat Surtain(not syaing hes better then Pat) who had more picks.

Not always. I assume if McDougla plays well we will sign him long term. Its possible they could do this mid year as well. That goes for the other ones as well.
