If Vernon/Shelby/Wake are getting good production why not give Jordan some time at LB in place of Wheeler? or especially Trusnik?

Am I just using Madden logic or does this make too much sense?
 
That's what I've been saying.

Our LB crew has been bad. No real playmakers.

Dion Jordan needs to get on the field for every down, where he can fly around, and make plays. As a OLB, he can cover TEs, blitz the QB, and chase down players from sideline to sideline.

Let the praying mantis run loose.
 
I was saying the same --
Jordan is the LEAST played Top 20 drafted player in the NFL --(non Injured)
 
This coaching staff sucks. The would know what to do with the talent we have on this roster. Let alone judge talent. Letting Reggie bush walk. Wtf. That's why this FO is done along with this coaching staff.

You can bring him in on 3rd and long as a LB and take out Misi.
 
I think they don't want to over burden him in his rookie season. That said there is no way he could be worse vs the run than Wheeler and we already know he is a better blitzer and coverage man.
 
the way jordan has not been used thus far i think i'd be down with some lb run too there...but the odds i think it happens are very slim...if cam wake is in fact fully healthy which i'm still not sure of kevin coyle is failing us with the utiliation of dion jordan...

how the heck is jason trusnick on the field rushing the passer vs tackles while jordan sits on the sideline??? oh well it's too late for this season anyways
 
I think when you are trying to figure out where to play the 3rd overall pick he probably wasn't worth the 3rd overall pick.
 
I think the very simple reason they are not using him is he is one dimensional and from what we have seen not good against run.

Wheeler is a coverage man? He's so incredibly lost in coverage it's unreal.

As far as blitzing goes I think he was way over hyped because he got to blitz against our oline in camp. How many big plays has he made this season? He's just one of several players on this team with zero instincts .
 
yeah I gotta say, Coyle ain't makin' sense with this "he's not playing run defense" stance; since when did this team become scary good enough to have luxury players on the sideline?
 
I think he is still injured. He still favors his right shoulder and seem to lack power in it. Maybe the surgery he had wasn't successful and he might have to have another this off season? ?? Just my opinion.
 
Why can't these coaches get their players up to speed in many positions. It's sick to watch.

Absolutely no one is better than Daniel Thomas or Nolan Carroll. How many players aren't getting opportunities???
