It baffles me how ESPN can even employ Irvin. The guy is either high or drunk everytime he is on the air. He is about the most ignorant obnoxious guy on all the air waves. His thoughts mean squat to me. I listened to the above segment mentioned for about 10 seconds and turned the channel off. I turn it off anytime loud mouth Irvin comes on.

It seems i'm in the minority here and thats perfectly fine. But what the hell has Henne shown anyone that makes some of you feel comfortable and good going into this season with him at QB? I'm i the only one that see he's CLEARLY the weak link on this team...CLEARLY!

I agree, Henne stinks but can anyone say with a straight face that we would have any shot to outwit Bill Belechick or Rex Ryan with VY as our QB? This would be child's play to those guys. They would keep VY in the pocket and make him look silly.
Jaime Dukes is obessed with us going after VY, he brought it up countless times when the Orton stuff was being discussed. Mike Lombardi made him look stupid when he accidently went off thinking he was off air. At one point I wanted the Dolphins to trade for Ortom just to avoid Young. I was thrilled when he signed with the Eagles.
I am not going to waste my time listening to those clueless idiots.
Vince Young? Ryan Mallett? Chad Henne might not be good, but he is better than those two guys. Heck, I would even go as far to say that any team would be better off with Matt Moore as their starter than either of these guys.

I listen to his show . . . let me summarize: "Since I was a HOF WR in the NFL, I know the "real deal" about this situation and that situation . . . the end." The most his show does is bring entertainment value . . . but as far as "insightful" information, nah, sadly you can get more insightful information from the Sid Rosenberg show . . . and I hate that guy.

your not man, most of these guys hating on the irvin's show dont even listen and is holding on to what they heard irvin has done in the past. Some people cant get past peoples past personal issues so they just tune them out forever and miss out on being educated. Irvin is a very insightful dude who speaks from a player stand point. He speaks as an insider and not from an analyst who thinks they know how things are and should be run. Irvin knows what he is talking about and I listen to his show all the time.
Sorry man, but Michael irvin is a down right waste product. How can you even consider a man insightful after all the crap he has done to himself. Hey, I no Holy Roller but Irvin belongs , IMO, in a side show. Just my honest opinion on the man.

More insightful information from sid? please? Sid is a giants homer...he has nothing positive to say about the dolphins. He has nothing positive to say about miami sports period. Sid Rosenberg is the one who is a straight up out of state homer and isnt my source for football. Sid Rosenberg knows nothing about football.
I don't dislike Michael at all, although not always agreeing with him. Vince Young for us was a "no brainer" (his and us passing on him) but Mallett had more than enough potential upside going for him to be a steal in the 2nd whether he worked out or not. The logic that he's worthless because he fell can also be applied even more so to Kyle Orton, who in a QB hungry year, drew only our serious interest... and that's bracketed against McNabb, Kolb and ****ing Tavaris Jackson to name a few. But back to Irvin, I respect that guy for what he's accomplished, how he's overcome, the fact that he's willing to speak his mind and for his engaging personality. There are far worse commentators than him.
So now you know what I think of the Irvin show in regards to insight. Entertainment . . . sure, but I can't take him serious at all.

Like I said man, I listen to words. I cant discredit a man because he messed up in the past. He talks about dealing with his issues in the past and irvin is a way more mature individual than you think with respect to his past set backs. All Entertainment aside he is very insightful..More insightful than entertaining in my eyes. Kevin kiley and he made a great team on that show.
Stick with Henne in a final year. See what hes got and if not just a a new QB next year in the draft. Its that simple.
