Plummer vs Miami career numbers

they will use him properly this season, with spread offense and zone blocking and that he did put up 15 pounds will help him to become one of the premier backs again this season
I read that article too. The thing about zone blocking is that it takes a year to develop and you need the right personnel. It's not something you dabble in either. You can't just do some man and some zone. Portis gaining 15 pounds is a step in the wrong direction and exactly what I'm talking about with them making him into something he's not. When we brought in Ron Dayne we made him lose a bunch of pounds and he ended up running much better. I think making him more heavy and slowing him down is killing his best asset.

Isnt this the guy who gave the broncos fans the bird? Plummer is not a good QB, and I think those who love the broncos...particularly Adam Shefter....still think this kid has it......well, lets see how he deals with bodies flying at him from all directions and JT in coverage. a 6-6 athletic DE covering is like having a major obstacle to throw over and under. What will Jake the snake do once he is cornered and his head is cut off? Answere..........NOT MUCH.

haha just got to laugh at you guys, someone tell me how you guys ranked in run defense last year?

you see thats your problem right there..........If your counting on last year to win this game.......your looking in the wrong direction.

I really think its funny how many people think Champ had a "bad" year last year. He was solid in most games and goldy in a few others. There were some mistakes he made and unfortunately many were on nationally televized games but if you think we were disappointed with his performance last season, you are very very wrong. Don't forget we picked up Champ AND a second rounder for the trade which we used to pick up Tatum Bell, and I know you know who he is. I think the trade worked out very well for us.

Yeah, which is a result of a horrible quarterback. if your passing game sucks, then they are just going to stack the line every play.

I'm really upset with how they (miss)use him in DC. They think they can turn him into John Roggins II and that's not who he is. They need to spread the defense out and get him invloved in the pass game more often. Run some stretch plays.

Because Plummer is from AZ, they show almost as many (if not more because of blackouts) broncos games as they do cards games. From what I saw, he didn't play as well last year as he normally does. There could be several reaons for this, but that doesn't matter because they are all minor. Regardless, I believe he will have a good year. However, you still have Plummer so that doesn't go for your whole team in my opinion. And yes, I know who Tatum Bell is. A good back up who will get a lot of playing time trying to make up for Plummer's interceptions. Plummer should have tried to just stay here at ASU, sort of like Clarett should have stayed at OSU...

Hey folks,

One thing no one brought up here. On the Broncos website, they have Champ and Plummer on the IR. Plummer's injury won't keep him out, as it's just an ankle sprain, but that could affect his mobility. Champ's on the other hand is a severe groin injury, which when you combine that with his pride level, will probably account to some burned routes...have any of you ever had a groin strain?? It doesn't affect all out speed, but your ability to cut is limited in deed. I'm thinking we have a genuine opportunity here. With Denver having the second oldest OL (behind Chiefs) and a handful of no-name recievers, not to mention they are putting their hopes in Ron Dayne (haven't we seen this before with NYG) who is a fumbling machine...As long as we are creative with our play calling then I think we'll be close. I think our chances of winning are around 35%, but we won't get blown out for sure. :shakeno:

Yeah, and usually teams missing most of their interior defensive line and LB's are good against the run.....Idiots

Both starting DT's were out for the year and Seau missed half the season. Let's just forget about those little details.
Keep hoping.
Also, statistically the Broncos were pretty good against the run, then you go out and revamp nearly the entire D-line. Your stats from last year cannot be applied to this year.
