Maybe a better option would be to pickup David Carr if he is droped for jake. I think pep maybe done but we have to at least give him a little time to see if he can do anything. Lemon is the x factor i don't think we really know if he can be the guy every week. But droping Joey for Carr would be a good move in my opinion.
Well, I thought we had heard every far-fetched trade/pickup when the Seau thread broke, how about something more realistic?
Getting Jake Plummer. He's a definate upgrade from Harrington / Lemon, and if we do not pick up a QB in the draft, you think the Broncos would go for a Harrington for Plummer trade.
I would actually like it. He's not great. But it's not like we have a "great" QB right now, that is, depending on how Culpepper comes back, and who knows how he will end up.
I'm surprised to read all these posts about trading Joey H.
After Joey's performance last year, he has no trade value.
Pretty much.
What's the point in getting Plummer when Culpepper would just make him the backup anyway.
You're quite the comedian.![]()
Yeah and you're a Joey Harrington fan.
Really? I didn't know that, thanks for letting me know. I could have sworn I wanted to dump CP, trade JH, get a FA and draft a QB. Wow, thanks for setting me straight.
edit: okay i looked at your posts and I guess you didn't like Harrington back during the season either. you're 1/2 cool in my book:)
Yeep. Either that, just to get back at Denver. Goes to the Raiders in a trade for Jerry Porter. He'll most likey end up with the Texans, reuniting with Gary Kubiak.
