Who was the biggest bust for the Dolphins?

a.) Cecil Collins
b.) Yatil Green
c.) Karim Abdul-Jabbar
d.) J.J. Johnson

My choices for both: Don Shula, and Yatil Green

In the first poll, if anyone voted for anyone but Shula, they would be wrong.

Actually, I don't think they do. I have been to Dolphins games over at the Meadowlands where the Jets play and I never saw cheerleaders. They have pathetic half time shows with 5 year olds dancing in circles, it was pathetic (this year)

I hate labeling Yatil Green as a bust. Yeah, I know he didn't work out. But he wasn't like all those other "busts" who actually played and just flat out sucked. Injuries robbed Yatil of the chance to prove himself before he played a down.

Robin Sendlien...........My memory isn`t exactly like a steel trap, but did`nt we trade a high draft pick for him? Or maybe it was a player that turned out to be great, in any event he got hurt and never did play. Well...........I might be wrong about that too! :)

Eddie "My punch bowl wasn't spiked" Blake
Jackie Shipp
Eric Kumerow
John Bosa
Lorenzo Hampton
John Grimsley
Rick Graf
Aaron Craver
Billy Millner
Hugh Green (considering what was given up)
Sendlein
Andrew Greene
Sammie Smith/Bobby Humphrey
Fred Barnett
...and on and on and on.
much more severe then Jabbar or J.J. Johnson.

Robert

gotta disagree on Hugh Green - he was playing huge until the Meadowlands turf blew out his knee and I guess John Bosa was in the Yatil Green school of being hurt sooo much he neve got to play at the level he was capable of, but he would have been a bust anyway.

but leave the 2nd greatest player ever at Pitt (OK I hate Dorsett) out of it
