After the 2008 season, Carey was considered a top 5 RT and got a big contract extension . . . "disasters" don't get extensions.

i guess your right...must explain why we have been so good at running the ball the past couple seasons...U can stick an AVG RB behind an "Elite" LT, so pls dont go the route of not having any RB's..It's hard to accept but Long is a pretty good LT, definitely not elite

Really? Last time I checked football was a team game and LT is 1 of 11 guys who are key to making a successful run game.

Your opinion matters little because a vote of the players in the NFL say otherwise. He is an elite LT, period.
