Potential Dolphin Milestones.....ESPN

Seriously, when was the last time we've had two 1,000 yard WRs??

I have no idea why somebody gave you a "no thanks" for this so I countered with a "thanks". Of course, his name is InHenneWeTrust so he may just be bitter that we gave up on that turd before he was fully polished. To some morons there's still a diamond buried under all those layers of crap.

The Miami Dolphins are 8-6 and pushing for the playoffs. But they also have several terrific individual performances this year.

Here are several players who can hit personal milestones in the final two weeks of the season:
  • Second-year quarterback Ryan Tannehill needs just 373 yards to become Miami's first 4,000-yards since Dan Marino in 1994.
  • Dolphins receiver Brian Hartline needs 75 yards to reach back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons.
  • Miami receiver Mike Wallace needs 133 yards in the final two games to reach his first 1,000-yard season with the Dolphins.
  • Dolphins defensive end Cameron Wake needs 1.5 sacks to reach double-digit sacks for the third time in his career.
  • Miami linebacker Philip Wheeler needs five tackles for 100 tackles.

The Dolphins will play the Buffalo Bills (5-9) and New York Jets (6-8) in their final two games.

It's interesting that Charles Clay wasn't mentioned as a player that can hit personal milestones over the final two weeks.
Clay presently has 684 yards receiving and is only 107 yards behind Randy McMichael's team record of 791 yards receiving for tight ends.
With 116 yards receiving over the final two games, Clay could become the first Dolphins tight end with 800 yards receiving in a single season.
Clay also has six (6) receiving touchdowns and is only one (1) behind Keith Jackson's team record of seven (7).
Clay is also two (2) points behind Keith Jackson's 44 points (seven touchdowns and one two-point conversion) for most points scored by a tight end in team history.

Dustin who? LOL.

Wow 1994 was the last time Marino threw for 4000 yards? I think that was the first season with Irving Fryar too. They seriously gave him chicken crap to work with and he kept turning it into chicken salad.

1994 was the last year Marino played a full season under Don Shula. It was also the second season with Irving Fryar.
