Will go in for labrum repair. Not good news for the cohesion of our Oline.


Pouncey was in good spirits after today's two-hour procedure and is already talking about how soon he can get back.

Pouncey suffered the injury during the team's offseason program.

Sam Brenner took a lot of snaps at center during one of the mini-camp practices last week and figures to fill in during Pouncey's absence. Nate Garner also can play center.

Undrafted Utah State rookie Tyler Larsen is a natural center who's trying to make the team.

garner will be fine but losing the 1 returning starter, for the early games? just ouch

With Dolphins C Mike Pouncey out at least three months after hip surgery, Miami's O-line will have five brand-new opening-day starters.
 
Not a fan of this dope, but there is no doubt we need him. I am surprised we didn't draft a C to help provide some insurance in case we lost him due to Bullygate or some other douche move he was involved in. Now with the injury, it makes the oversight even worse.

I don't know if we will have that much of an improvement from the OL this year. But to be fair to Hickey, it was a colossal task to try to fix that dumpster fire in one year.

Isn't there also some belief he might be suspended for game 1 for Bullygate? If he is out with injury, would that still count?

Weird.

Dude was just running drills last week.

Makes me think, he did sit out one day at mini-camp only to come back second day.
