Butthurt? No, not at all. Just tired of seeing the same people say the same thing about the guy. It's getting quite old and played out.

Maybe he should stop being an idiot then. It's really not asking all that much. He just needs to grow up, stop hanging out with/supporting thugs, and start being the leader you expect out of the highest drafted Center in the history of the NFL.

I'd love for him to get his head straight and develop into a true leader on the team, but I have seen NOTHING that indicates that is going to happen. If he's out until week 11 or some nonsense like that, it would just confirm that he hasn't changed. We'll see.
 
I don't need Mike Pouncey to be a leader, not everyone is and draft position sure doesn't make one.

I disagree regarding the role he should play, but how about just not being a piece of **** then? There is some middle ground there. All he really needs to be is a good teammate, especially on a unit that needs to work together possibly more than any other unit on the team. So far he's lacking in that department.

Harvin was out until week 11, but he had his surgery a month after Pouncey is having his. We'll see. Is it harder for your hip to heal when you're a WR or when you have to support 300 pounds while you're bench pressing other 300 pounders 70 times a game?

Pouncey is what he is. Hoping he's going to develop into a non-asshole, to say nothing of being a leader, is probably a lost cause. This isn't a guy who realizes he makes mistakes and knows he has to be a better person. Then at least there could be some hope. Pouncey goes through life absolutely oblivious of the fact that he's doing the wrong thing.
 
Apparently Zounds thinks he should continue being an idiot, not grow up, continue hanging out with/supporting thugs, and not start being a leader. I can't see how that's a better direction, but maybe he would like to explain how it is. :idk:

I believe its something like 12 padded practices (1 per day max) during the offseason, and 14 padded practices during the regular season.
