Pouncey has hip surgery out possibly 3 months

So now 4/5 O-line positions have huge question marks going into the season. Its not possible the line could be worse this year right?

ha ha and here comes the lurking no thanks king poster...i think i got like 10 of em from this dude the other day

He needs to get himself better so he can find work elsewhere. Preferably a franchise and fan base that can respect his work.

If that's his aim, just another reason that we should have been proactive and found his replacement this year instead of next.

What else is gonna go wrong. This team is snakebit. As much as I hope this is it, I have a feeling the bottom is just gonna fall out.

there's no way around it...this sucks the big one...2 new starters at guard who pouncey was gonna be helping a lot this year on an island more now and a center who gets less help from the guards cause of their own concerns about assignments...rookie right tackle also who will need help as much as we can give it

oline was already the place to watch come camp now it's taken it to another level...i'd like to see tannehills reaction...up the anty on the life insurance policy

Saw this on NFL.com:

In a best-case scenario, Miami's anchor would return for Week 4 at the Raiders. However, it's more likely that Pouncey starts the season on the PUP list, and he would be eligible to return for Week 7 at Chicago. Percy Harvin had the same procedure last June and didn't return until Week 11.

Maybe it want take as long as Harvin with him being a center and all. Either way this is probably going to take a long time.

Should have traded him sooner. Now we'll never get decent value for him.

Things seemed to be going so well, and now it seems like the bottom fell out on the whole season before it got started.

I mentioned several times before the draft that we have been very lucky with Pouncey's health thus far, and that it is unlikely to last forever.

Don't get too upset about this. He doesn't appear to be gone for the year and I have more faith than some on this board that Tyler Larsen can do a decent job.

Next year may be a crossroads year with Pouncey anyway. After the Alex Mack deal, Pouncey knows he will get paid and there is a good chance it is not by us.

So, we may need to come to grips with life after Pouncey next year anyway. This could serve to find his replacement or serve to underscore how much we need to re-sign him.

Honestly, I'm just glad it's not Albert who is injured ... yet. (/furiously knowing on wood)
