COMPLETELY Disagree! Obviously, no one can legislate intellect. But Pouncy does very well what the Phins have put him here to do. Mike Pouncy knows better than any fan or hatchet-job faux-journalist exactly what did or did not occur last year, regardless of how Teddy Wells portrayed him in some legalistic report.

But watch the video of the interview. A reporter baited him with "Do you have any regrets about last year?" If you answer "Yes" you have just indicted yourself in the calamity. If you answer "No", you appear self-absorbed and indifferent to a major cause of team dissension last year. He answered the best he could. "Last year is gone..we're now all about 2014."

He does "Get it". He knows to talk about what's RELEVANT. Keep the main thing, the main thing. The MAIN THING is being the best team and teammate he can be NOW. THIS YEAR. I am sorry to say some horrible wanna-be reporter, journalist-imposter was even allowed in the facility. No, I'm not talking about Omar (but could be).

Am I disappointed by what occurred in the past? Of course. But I am also intelligent enough of a fan to look through the BS and see when someone has just been maliciously tripped up and fallen into a guillotine. To me, I have just seen about as blatant a character assassination as I could ever see. All for the benefit of some asinine reporter to have some material to write about for a content deadline. Here's a challenge: How about finding something PRODUCTIVE and RELEVANT and INTERESTING about the upcoming season to entice the fan base!

Sorry to blast those who think otherwise, but the YAHOO wanna-be reporter is the REAL BIGGER moron.

Well, when reporters know that you are 100% for sure stupid enough to answer a question the wrong way, there going to ask you that question.

This story was dead, mike is the only one keeping it alive. Even incognito learned to shut up.
 
Sometimes in life, there are things you have to do even if you don't "get it". If Pouncey wants it to be all about 2014, he needs to STFU and meet the requirements the NFL has laid out. Go see the shrink, get it over with, and if it pisses you off, you're paid to shove men around all day long. Take it out on the field.

Maybe the NFL should get off their asses and set things up instead of dragging this out.
 
I dont think he should have any regrets, pouncey didnt really do anything man. I read the whole ted wells report. So Pouncey liked to go party, WHO CARES? The dolphins don't so you shouldnt either.

I think you are wasting your time because there are some posters who keep saying Pouncey doesn't get it when they are the ones who doesn't get it.

I'll continue to say it, people are sheep. If they're lead to believe they should care about a subject matter...they will. I watched the interview earlier today, non-story, move on.

Exactly. The NFL has had the report for over three months now and the Dolphins took care things internally. If they are demanding Pouncey see a doctor, then what is the wait? Do it now before season prep really gets going. Really it should have been done before the draft. Also, if you are going to suspend him(stupid to do so), what is the holdup?

how is saying he's only thinking about 2014, the wrong thing to say? seems like he wants to move on, and not talk about last year. i thought he said the perfect thing. Regrets about last year? why should he? he made the pro bowl. now it's time to move on to 2014, which is what he's saying.
