It would be nice if we could mold the practice squad Linemen -Pierce and Damien Cook- into players that can contribute late in the season, when the regulars begin to wear down. I am particularly intruiged by Cook, who is said to be 330 pounds and in the mold of a Norv Turner OL (he was released by the Bears). You wonder how long the Phins scouts had their eyes on this guy - if he was cut purely becuase of the numbers game in Chicago, its possible that he has the tools to become a solid linemen.
Keep in mind, both Nails and Dixon were out of the NFL when Wanny "found" them and inserted them into the starting lineup... Now they are arguably our 2 best linemen. Doesnt hurt to wish does it? :)
