im officially sold on gates. back to back practices burning corners and coming down with the ball. the guy is aggressive and gives it his all. Burned sean and will allen yesterday. Burned vontae twice today. Really hope he can steal the #2 wr spot from hartline

Columbo- im scared with this guy at RT. dont like his base stance. Real skinny legs with braces on both knees. Just looks awky out there
Jerry- OUT OF SHAPE
Matt Moore- solid with short to intermediate passes. Cant throw the deep ball
Devlin- really like this kid. Good quick release. Pretty accurate
Sheets- Simply Swag
 
ive been saying it since draft day that gates will be our wallace (pitt wr). he will have an impact this year

Henne looks decent. Lot of checkdowns today tho to bush and fasano so couldnt really analyze him that much. The few deep balls he did throw tho today, they were money.

And why do people have to pry this out of people when wanting to know what henne did on a good day? just boggles my mind. He is the starter!!!everyone should want to know what henne is doing.
 
Glad to hear that Gates looks good. If he can translate it to the regular season and push Hartline to the fourth spot (where he belongs) then Miami is in great shape. This is the kind of hit we need with our rooks.

How'd Thomas look?

they certainly have plugged him into the starting O early while marshall gets therapy.
 
glad he isn't a scared (not scary *cough*ted ginn) deep threat...kudos to ireland.He has COMPLETELY built a pretty good team in a few yrs despite some of the fair weatherdness around here who suggest we are trash across the board

Thomas didnt get many reps today. Dunno why. Lot for bush, he may indeed be the every down back........
And they were givin sheets and grigsby a lot of reps today. Tryna compare i guess for that last spot on the rb depth chart? Truly, i wish they kept both and got rid of hilliard

Hilliard would stick over grigsby unless girgsby shines on KO return i would imagine. everything comes down to special teams at the bottom. Grigsby can be put on PS. Hilliard cant. Sheets would unseat both if he shines on KO returns and reg play. also blocking is big deal to these guys, and rightfully so.
 
Question about Gates burning our starting CBs...Is it more about them? Bad technique, too slow etc or just more about him...bottomline he's a badass
