Predictin: Matt Simms will win the game for his team

To be perfectly fair, every single one of us had that feeling... Where Hayden went wrong was starting a thread about it... But still, most of us had the same god damn feeling...

I think that hits the nail on the head.

I am jaded that this team cannot finish and at least makes it too interesting.

Today, they finished and as I said in the original post...I hope I was going to wrong and I was.

Good win.

Should I bump this thread in a couple of months?

As long as I can bump your "Will Yeatman should be the LT" posts...sounds even.

I'm not gunna lie I thought the same thing as well, and was waiting for the 2nd half implosion. But lucky me I didn't start a thread about it.

I do not want it to happen. I am routing against it. I am dying play to play. I want 6-6. This is not a bash Joe Philbin thread. It is a prediction.

Please...let me be wrong. Please.

However:

* the Fins have no killer instinct.

* they have left plays and points on the table

* the Fins have terrible play calling

* the Fins will not be able to adjust to Simms. Paralyses by analysis

* Plus, Simms will breath life into the Jets team

* Rex did a good job keeping his team in it to this point...

This might be the most frustrating game of the entire year. That is saying something.

I HOPE I am dead wrong.

What does the Fox Say?

"We had to play 60 minutes. That has been our Achilles heal. We did that today," Cameron Wake on the Jets win.

Cam is right. That was my concern. Not sure why there are so many "I told you so's" around here.

If you consider yourself one of the more knowledgable and dedicated posters here, being knee jerk won't help you.

I have always said I am emotional on game day. It will never change.

However, that some people think it was ludicrous that I would question whether they could close a team out after having a lead at the half is the biggest joke.

The team has had issues with that ALL YEAR.

I like how I said I hope I am "dead wrong" and people think that I wanted the Jets to win.

I live and die with these games. I would pull for Stalin if he was the RB for this team.

I just do not believe in this group's mental toughness. Today, they were great. Let's see what happens from this point out.

Realize that, my point is you put a lot into your evaluations, being knee jerk takes away some credibility.

This was a bad thread.
There was no basis for this observation.
Simms was terrible at TN in college, what would make anyone think he would be good on the NFL.

Well they did lose against a Thad Lewis led bills, so anythings possible with this team.
