and if you're going to pay howard 3.75mil a year and he's not the caliber of Ty Law, why not pay Law 4.0mil as an upgrade over Howard.

Because we dont need Law. Howard will be fine as the #2 CB as long as he isnt put out on an island to cover someone running around the field. If you play more zone coverages, you dont need premiere shutdown CBs... look at NE. Besides Law and Samuels, can you name their starting CBs throughout the playoffs? Most people cant.

I dont even think Law is an upgrade over Howard.... we dont even know if he can walk. When Law is healthy, definately he is much better, right now, no one knows except Ty and his Doctor. We need to get YOUNGER in the secondary, Ty Law is not the answer because we dont need a starting CB, we need depth at the #4/5 spot.

Some veteran's I think that we might let go... David Bowens... Taylor Whitley... and maybe Tim Bowens. :cry: (Possibly Reggie Howard if we get Law or T-Buck).

There is no way Saban is going to cut Reggie Howard...we need healthy corners.

I dont really want to see St Clair and his contract on the roster either, JMHO.

Realistically speaking St. Claire had a better year than Todd Wade!

He was one, if not the best player on the line last year, if you were to pick one. He seemed the most consistant.
