Predictions of all AFC East teams

We are going to beat the pats twice. Mark it down!
This is a whole new season and the expectations are way off this year.
First the Bills are not going to step up this year, in fact, they will step back to 6-10. the Jets are going to be less as well and we will beat them twice, time is going to catch up on them this year but they will be fighting it out with us believe it or not cus the Pats are going to have the biggest downfall at 9-7 because of too many key players out of the picture (coaches too).

Miami 11-5
Jets 10-6
Pats 9-7
Bills 6-10

Jets 11-5(div winner)
Pats 11-5
Bills 8-8
Miami 6-10

This is exactly what I was talking about. This is nothing short of laughable.

I think it would have to go with:

Pats 11-5
Jets 9-7
Bills 7-9
Fins 6-10

I just want to beat the Jets, dammit!!

That's just too bad, we'll do what we have done to you for most of the past 7 years and that is beat you. :D

Rookie o-linemen don't usually make an impact

I know we inserted a rookie in 1998 in Jason Fabini and he did ok and then the next year we inserted Randy Thomas to G and he did ok. Rookie OL can amke an impact.

Wow....didn't we head into last offseason thinking we'd have a legit shot at going to the SB? Seriously....what are the chances that:

1) We promote an OC only to have him step down
2) your stud/star RB who takes 30% of the snaps quits just before the season starts
3) your new "stud" WR destroys his leg right before the season starts (his replacement comes in with barely a week before the season..Booker)
4) We're using something like our 6th RB by the 3rd game of the season
5) Your two DTs are out for the year within the first few games (or never even saw a game)
6) Your FB is out 1/2 the year
7) Your using your return man as your place kicker
8) internal dissention amongst coaching staff
9) your HC quits just barely over 1/2 way into the season
10) you start one QB just to bench him and bring in the backup just to bench him a couple games later
11) your original starting QB screws up his neck
12) you have both QBs go out of a game within a couple of minutes due to getting their a$$ handed to them
13) have the 'youngest' Oline in the NFL all being their first year together.
14) I'm sure I'm missing about 30 other things.....

What are the chances of ALL of that being a repeat? What were our expectations this time last year? What have we done to get better then last year?

Replaced the s"dud" RB who quit (Brown)
Added multiple Dline men that will help shore up the run (Roth, Carter, Holiday)
Added a GREAT coaching staff
multiple other things.

Really...what have we lost? Surtain and Knight are the only things we've lost in the offseason really.

An above .500 year is certainly not out of the question.

I completely forgot about that but you are right and even after Ricky retired and Boston went down folks were saying how this team would win 9 or 10 games :roflmao:

To be fair, I thought you would be competetive and win at least 6 or 7 but I was wrong.

if Bates was HC all season instead of Wanny we would have won at least 7 imo. I never thought DW was the greatest HC but I did support him for the most part. But....last offseason really turned me off on him and although I think he's a nice guy....he definitely showed me he wasn't HC material for the NFL.

He should have given Feely 100% of the 1st team snaps last offseason to begin with and he should have changed his coaching philosophy sooner along with manage his coaches and players better. That said....our "physical" losses killed us last year but what put us into the 4 win category was DW.

Without Ricky and Dbo...I gave us a .500 record with a fair shot at an above .500 record potentially in the playoffs. After the season started....we had way too many injuries way too early and DW's coaching and QB indecisiveness.

Anyways...my point was that we have solved some of our major problems from last season (i.e. Ricky) and as long as we don't have all the injuries and coaching changes and all the other problems / nightmares....we (imho) shouldn't consider ourselves a 4-6 win team as I see many predicting here. Should we win 10+...? maybe with a little luck but with new systems being installed etc. I think more like a 7-9 win season is doable. Then again...for being the 2nd worst team we have the hardest Strength of Schedule......as if THAT makes any sense.....

And your predictions arent just as laughable. Bills better than the SB champs and the playoff bound Jets? :shakeno:

I must admit I am very surprised at the respect the Jets are getting in these predictions, I guess you are just trying to jinx them :D

There's no way the Jets are going 12-4....more like 9-7...especially since Chad is coming back from shoulder surgery......I want to see Feeley step in for him and then we can return some easy INT's for TD's. :D

I still see the Patsies winning the division...I think we can 8-8 or 9-7...but I am looking for us to tear it up come 2006. :)
Obviously you cant even keep track of your own players.:shakeno: But you do have one thing right Int's for TD's will be another common thing, for your offense. By the way Feeley is your starter, Fiedler signed with us. Do the research before you reply.
