Profootball Focus Team Player Ratings

How did you view Clemons in the second view of the games?

I didn't look at him much. I only check out the players who I have questions about. NFL safety isn't the easiest position to evaluate on television anyway, because they are out of the screen so frequently at the snap. That's why I typically focus on linemen.

My overall impression is that Clemons is a dependable player who improves slightly every year. Better angles than Jones and fewer false steps. He still needs to make more plays. There was one late season drop in which he diagnosed perfectly and cut inside the receiver but failed to come down with it.

Clemons has always been solid dating back to his Clemson days.

Never been a flash player, but like he is in the NFL, he's a leader back there. He's a better fit at SS and not asked to cover like a legit FS.

I don't understand this. The Dolphins have been employing him
As a pure true cover FS, so I don't understand why you said he's better as a SS

Understandable. What are your thoughts on Ellerbe? I tonight he was just as bad if not worse than Wheeler

Not surprised Nate Solder is ranked so high for the Pats. Guy gets away with more holds than any player in the league. I see him multiple times a year locally and he could get rich training guys on bribing refs to ignore it. Guess that kind of thing happens when you're protecting the golden child.
