MIAMI'S O-LINE SHOULD SHUT UP?

In response to our report that the Miami Dolphins' offensive linemen are getting frustrated by the criticism being heaped upon them by coach Nick Saban, FinHeaven posters have told us that the problem isn't the new blocking scheme or the changes to the lineup, but the talent of the linemen.

Or, to be more specific, the absence thereof.

"They are what they are," said one personnel exec. "Collectively they blow. It doesn't matter who you have in there to coach them. Jesus couldn't work a miracle with these turds.

"Saban is right," the source added. "If they can't block they don't deserve to play. And he'll clean that toilet bowl out by this time next year."
correction... :)

saban did the right thing. bring houck in, identify who is good, who is coachable and who can get better and be a good lineman. then, go out and address specific needs next offseason.

i was dreaming we could have a miracle turn around season just like the rest of you, but it's beginning to become more and more clear that spielstedt left such a fustercluck of a situation that it's going to take a little time to fix.

That's right.
