Projected Olb Coach And Dline Coaches

We certainly need good OL play, and we've needed a good OL coach for a long time now. Fingers crossed our next OL coach can do what all the other OL coaches couldn't. Popovich is a disciple of Dante Scarnecchia, and that's about as good of a tutor as we could hope to find.

poaching the Pats makes it extra nice

So if your the OLB coach in a 4-3, then do they have a MLB coach for one guy? LOL.
Heh, well sometimes roles don't always match up squarely with titles, but these days titles tend to be pretty specific, so guys who help out in a number of roles might not have the most accurate titles. Still funny to think about though!

Gotta remember that in a 34 you are basically coaching DEs anyway and are trying to teach both pass rushing and coverage. He if you are LB coach its the equivalent of being an ILB coach for a 34

The closest link for Hobby from what I see is a stint as the DL coach with the Saints under Peyton and he played under Parcells for 2 years. So it's kind of an extended comnection
Wasn't Hobby fired from Jacksonville so that would make him available to be hired?

Honestly didnt know but looking it up he was one of 4 assistants fired. Honestly dunno enough about the Jags to see why but his first year his unit was very productive. I do know there was supposedly some disconnect with the defensive staff and offense
