Amazing what happens when you play with 5 men instead of 4 men and a woman.
The bigger issue with not resigning McKinney (if rumors are to be believed) is that Philbin wanted us to go after McKinney in free agency and Ireland said no.
As for the rest of the OL, Sam Brenner has earned a chance to be looked at as the starting LG going into next season. He didn't start the game yesterday but by the 2nd drive he was in.
I think the deal breaker with McKinney in the offseason was that he wanted a mult-year deal and Ireland only wanted to give him 1 year.
I'm not an Ireland hater (or lover), but I have 2 problems with that. First, if you need him this year, then why not commit to 2 years (like the Ravens did)? You can cut him later. Second, he made the McKinney trade a week late. It should have happened during the bye.
Anyway, I like the way the unit is performing and they are being helped by Tannehill. He finally seems to be scrambling when that internal alarm clock starts to buzz.

As badly as Tyson Clabo struggled in the first few games, I'm impressed with the way he's refused to go in the tank.
He's playing fairly well right now.
as my friend said it best, "it's amazing what a ragtag O-Line can do when they don't have a dick and a ***** on the squad"
You mean he was reactive instead of proactive? Got it.no you dont understand. Ireland didnt get him in FA before so he sucks even though he got him later when available.
got it? making sense now? lol
