According to NFL.com below are the top prospects that we have met with. The two CB’s has me puzzled a bit especially Ward as his size seems to go against what they generally look for. Could just be due diligence or could someone be moving to FS?

There is a longer list at Walter Football in the link below but go there your own risk, I swear I’m going to get a virus from that site!

What jumps out at me is 1 LB, 1 TE, no safeties, no Nelson, no DTs

List looks a lot better when you see the expanded thing. I wouldn't take a ton of stock into this though, I think we didn't meet with Harris

Tbaum's history is all about misdirection, he didn't meet with any of the top LBs or FSs........i bet he is targeting one of them.

Some of the guys who stand out for me are:

    DL - Vita Vea
    LB - Reshaan Evans
QB - Baker Mayfield, Mike White
G/T - Mike McGlinchey, Skyler Phillips
    CB - Denzel Ward
    RB - Sony Michel

I could see us drafting any of these guys. Lots of scheme fits and talent there.

I really like Rashaan Evans. If Miami finds a way to trade down, I'd be happy with him.

Some of these guys could also be UDFA's that Miami likes and wants to bring in after the draft.

Glad we visited with Tony Brown, he’s my later round crush for this draft. Can replace Bobby pretty quickly

I think it stands out that Derwin James and Tremaine Edmunds aren't on the list.

Last year Miami didn’t meet with Harris after the combine, and said he was the guy the whole time. Gase said on the Joe Rose show the work has been done for awhile, and that reconciled with what they said about Harris. I don’t know what that means or doesn’t mean, but it’s weird that he has a lot of visits scheduled weeks after he said publicly all the work is done.

Bring Sony M back home to Plantation...

Can’t see how we can get him though, with other huge needs.

Go see the movie then check the draft and cry when Miami drafts a no name while they pass on Derwin James or a qb.

I'm sorry but if you talk culture change you meet with the players you're investing top draft picks in.

Do you take someone else's word on whether this player is a leader or has character concerns or you find out yourself? Do you get a Jonathan Martin or a Reuben Foster? How do you get a chance to ask if the draft pick is gay or his mother is a hooker if you don't meet with him?

Last year "we didn't meet with Harris to throw people off" is either lazy or disingenuous. Do your damn job front office otherwise we wouldn't be mired in mediocrity!

I am working on compiling some write ups on the list of players we met with but when I found this I thought maybe this guy deserves his own space.

    • Tarvarius Moore, FS, Southern Mississippi (PRO)
Exceptional athlete with elite speed and agility. Flies to the ball in coverage. Can play on the outside, and twitchy enough to cover shifty slot receivers. Best when working in space. Very good ball skills and is productive with pass breakups. Has good length, and won’t be outreached by bigger X receivers. Very under the radar player.

I could be wrong but I understood him to say that in the draft room, the work is already done in that they aren't sitting around trying to decide / arguing as to who to select.

It's an easy solution. Since they both look like they're going to get your team destroyed, DVR one and watch the other. That way you can experience the despair of each sequentially!

Hey, we're Dolphins fans ... this isn't new territory for us, unfortunately.
