Proximity of Dolphins Stadium to Airports

I fly in every home game from NJ and always fly into FLL. It is a 20 minute (if that) ride from the airport

Go to FLL it cleaner not as crowed and easier to get in and out of, also it is cheaper to fly into Ft lauderdale than Miami. Enjoy your trip.

I have been to the Miami airport twice and what a pain that was....I brought back a "package" from Panama in 1987....some guy asked me to deliver it for him and I took his cash to deliver it not realizing it could have been a dope package.....I was young and a dope back then but whatever it was in the package I didnt get caught. :redeye::whew:

FT. LAUDERDALE IS ALWAYS CHEAPER.........Try getting on Kayak.com it great source for flights, you'll save a ton of money.

According to Google Maps, using zip codes...
Miami International Airport to Dolphins Stadium = 15.0 miles
Ft.Lauderdale International Airport to Dolphins Stadium = 16.1 miles

That being said, like most others have pointed out, Ft.Lauderdale International is less congested and easier to get in and out of than Miami International, not to mention usually less expensive. Take I-595 West to Florida's Turnpike and go South, you'll run right into Dolphins Stadium :)

I don't know where he's flying out of if he lives in Newport News, but for someone who uses Dulles, you can fly D.C. to FLL on JetBlue for $69 on the way down and $79 on the way up. Plus you get nice planes and free DirecTV. And JetBlue doesn't service Miami, either.

JetBlue, formally know as Value Jet. I would take my chances with Southwest.

Is that a joke? JetBlue started a few years ago. Best airline I've ever flown on in this country. Cheap, convenient, almost always early, and I love having 4 ESPNs. :D

No... I'm serious. JetBlue is the old Value Jet. They are the ones that nose dived into the Glades at 500mph. Got their butts suit off for negligence.

It's a different business. Either way, I love that airline.

AirTran is the old Value Jet in a sense, AirTran and Value Jet merged after the accident and they switched all the Value Jet planes over to the AirTran name.

PhinPhreak is correct, Airtran is ValueJet, not Jet Blue. Jet Blue is a recent startup that gives everyone large leather seats with free DirecTV at a cheap price.

Oh, and fly FLL. Miami is a disaster.
