That is just a ridiculous statement. Sage is actually known to be quite smart and a very good leader. McMahon has proven nothing except his talent. Norv Turner does not like QBs that scramble all over. He likes guys more like Gannon who can do it when necessary.
This obsession with McMahon is unbelievable. First of all he is all talent, and I mean all talent. He is still very raw. Sage is raw as well, but he is not a bundle of gleaming talent. Basically a guy with a level higher arm than Fiedler and the same scrambling ability(from what I saw in college). Don't say college does not prove anything as that is the stupidest junk ever. It proves alot about a person's talents and character. He is easier to coach than McMahon, albeit the new Punky QB is not as Punky.
