Question about the 72 Dolphins?

I know most of you were not around then. I fell in love with that team when I was 7 years old. I could name every player. My question for you is who was the best player on that team? I have my favorite, but I believe it comes down to two guys. I’m just curious if others remember it the way I do. I appreciate any responses from people that loved that team like I did.

I was six and was a fan after losing SB VI. The two best players imo on that team were Larry Csonka and Paul Warfield. Larry Little and Jim Langer weren't far behind.

Oh man, there were more than two great players. I'll limit myself to one on offense and one on defense. Larry Csonka and Jake Scott.

I was 12 at the time and was lucky enough to attend every home game.

Big Larry was the best player but so many great players on that team. Many Fernandez and Nick B were two of the leaders on that defense and Griese never got as much credit as he deserved.

There were a lot of very good players, but only 2 that were top 5 all- time at their position in my opinion.

Bill Stanfill posted 18 sacks in a 14 game season...the safeties were great!

So this is where all the elders hang out! Ha just kidding guys. I like these kinds of threads because I learn alot from them and get different views about players that normal articles or videos don't show.
