Has anyone heard what's going on with Misi? Did we cut him, did he retire? DOD I miss something?
Last I heard he got hurt watching TV
Are you serious? ****ing Misi? That overrated piece of glass hasn't been here for a year and people are still yammering for him? This is the sign that let's me know that we haven't seen a good linebacker in a long time. Let us hope this changes soon.
Not yammering for him, was just wondering what ever happened to him...again, did he finally retire or what...jesus
It’s a mystery. Kinda like McMillan. They haven’t really said if he’s ready to go either. Misi is finished but for some reason he’s still on the roster? Or maybe he isn’t anymore? Idk. Either way he’s done playing I would appear. Just a contract thing at this point.
He attempted to come back after the neck injury and failed the physical so he is done.
That's what I was wanting to know, thank you!!
Maybe he is drinking and jamming with me right now?
Dude feel asleep and drempt that he broke his leg. Woke up and had two broken legs.
Someone cut him off in his apartment parking space, lost his cool again, and head butted the door down and beat hiss ***. Aka "failed physical"
I heard he dislocated his shoulder flipping pages in a magazine
Misi was actually a pretty decent player for us when he was healthy, and the injuries he's had are pretty serious. It's not like he missed time with a hangnail; he had spinal fusion surgery and that's pretty serious.
I guess what I'm saying is, well, this time I'm not going to crack any jokes.
No clue nor do I GAF.
David Garrard said," At least Misi didn't slip at the pool"
he reincarnated as DVP
Koa played 84 games over 7 seasons with the Dolphins and despite the comments above, I understand that he was considered an excellent guy in the locker room who trained extremely hard (an outstanding trainer). However, on October 10, 2016, Misi was placed on injured reserve due to a neck injury and on July 25, 2017, the Dolphins placed Misi on injured reserve (again) with a neck injury. I am only speculating but the team may be seeking to optimize its long term injury settlement from a legal perspective. There is probably some requirement in his contract that we can't cut him while on injured reserve.
Why yes my gentle scholar. I must have clicked the keyboard too hard for your liking. I will refrain from making my words too gutteral from henceforth good sir.
It seems he was a quality "dude. No one IMO disputes that. And he was a "serviceable" player on the field but no one is ever going to confuse him with a legit difference maker.Coming out of college the expectations were he was a certified terrorist who could break a few opponent bones and physically outclass some dudes -- I never really saw THAT as a pro. So of course his ceiling was lower than anticipated and he basically (functionally) created a classic "average at best" pro career.
For me -- I have zero to say about the dude personally because I am sure he's a quality person with well above average athletic chops -- but his "game" was never anything extraordinary at the pro level. Problem is -- we've had way too many "average" players...
As I was reading this I thought it was a joke about him always being injured but realized it was serious. Lol.
