Samson Satele says he thinks the Dolphins offense has more talent than last years Indianapolis
Colts team.

Satele says he has 5 or 6 more years left in him. Says he will be ready to start Friday vs Atlanta. "This ain't my first rodeo"

Samson Satele: "I got an opportunity to start a couple of games here, before the big boy (Pouncey) comes back."

Samson Satele says he does not remember the last time he had a
bad snap.

Satele wouldn't budge though on Ryan Tannehill vs Andrew Luck. Said he hasn't seen enough of
Tannehill yet.

Good interview session with new Dolphins C Samson Satele. He says he's come full circle and this Miami team
has a lot of potential.

Something to be said for long time experience at one position. The bigger plus here too may be that we can now have depth at every position and focus on other spots on the OL as backups as we figure out the top 5. Satele would still be a nice backup when Pouncey comes back. Brenner and Smith can focus on G spots.

There has been a lot of criticism of satele but I don't think anyone would argue, he's not a good backup, depth player to have, well for situations like this. Is he a all pro, no... But it isn't his first rodeo and has plenty of league experience

If he can manage to NOT get beat like a hanging rug, he's OK in my book.

He is serviceable enough, solid mediocre center that has experience and won't be a turnstile IMO.

Satele always struggled against Wilfork. That is why we acquired Jake grove. I hope father time has caught up with Wilfork.
As long as RT doesn't get quick pressures over the center, no center/QB fumbles, and some semblance of a running game between center/guard, then I will be OK with him.
I might be asking too much.

Wilfork is mostly a plugger now, and he's coming off a serious injury. Satele has had some success against Wilfork. The wildcat game comes to mind.

What goes around comes around

Can this guy be far behind ?

Part of Cam Cameron's Samoan draft class (along with the Ginn family and Beck)

I hope he does well until Pouncy comes back. He's gone against Wilford many times so at least there's that. He knows what to expect.

Great coaches put their players in position to succeed. This is why Bill Belichick can pull anyone off the street and not skip a beat. He finds a player's strength and coaches within it.

A great OL coach will be able to hide Satele's weakness and limit his liability to the overall OL. Lazor also has a hand in this process.

Can a tiger change his stripes? Sadly people have learned nothing. Can't wait to see him work against Big Paul.

If you have to use the WC game to make your point, then your POV is already lost in the weeds.

Who didn't against will fork in his prime?!?

I dunno...he did OK in his 4 games against him. Gave up NO sacks, and the run game averaged 5 to 6 YPC in 3 of the 4 meetings. Something went right.

Edit: Not sure how many pressures.

He is a low endstarting center. Below average as a starter but way better than what we have. Until Poincey gets back we wont have close to average line.
I would rather have him on roster than a scrub like Fox though since Fox is basically worthless

Soliai beat him like a rag doll last year in the Colts game. Reminded me of why we got rid of Satele in the first place.

I agree with the exception of your take on Fox. Let's see how the preseason unfolds.
