R. Wilson been sacked 27 times & has 8 fumbles no big deal but Tannehill gets blamed

the biggest reason I feel tannehill is to blame is his lack of pocket presence he never takes a step up in the pocket to avoid pressure he seems to really lack periphial vision, and the ability to feel the pressure when the OL Tkes a dump on him also he lacks the ability to properly time an audible not sure if they have given him the reigns yet, but not sure if he is feeling his surroundings properly yet

So Russell Wilson & Ryan Tannehill both face lots of pressure, sacks, fumbles.

- Russell Wilson is able to stay composed, has a 99.0 passer rating, and leads his team to a 7-1 record.

- Ryan Tannehill gets rattled, has a 79.5 passer rating, and leads his team to a 3-4 record.
And all that's true, except Russell Wilson is pressured more, and sacked less.

Of course that and what you said can be readily blamed on any other aspect of the Dolphins' organization, which is the soup du jour around here right now. :)

This says it all

Here's the bottom line. Ryan Tannehill has 25 TD's and 28 combined turnovers in his career. Russell Wilson has 43 TD's and 18 combined turnovers in his career.

Basically, Wilson is more than an entire season's worth of Tannehill's touchdown output ahead, while Tannehill is an entire season's worth of turnovers ahead of Wilson.

That's why one wins and one doesn't.

No hate, bias, spin, etc. That's just facts. There's not a coach alive that'll tell you different.

Trent Dilfer is a better QB than Dan Marino. He has more SB rings.

I was going to post something like this yesterday. I was also going to mention P. Manning has been sacked 11 times and fumbled 6 times. Ultimately I decided the haters are just dead set on their opinion and I'm beginning to just think most those who hate on Tannehill don't watch anything but the Dolphins games and the ESPN highlights.

When in life, did someone who disagrees with you become a ''hater"
Is it impossible to have a discussion and disagree without being labeled a HATER?

How about Wilson's turnovers aren't causing his team games and Tannehill's are directly responsible for at least 2-3 games so far. There is a huge difference to fans, if he was turning it over and we were still winning. It seems he turns it over at the most opportune moment for the opposing defense.

And there is a statement that can be backed by objective evidence:

WPA and EPA. Note the difference between Wilson and Tannehill.

It doesn't ,mean you can trade QB's it means you have more games to cry in your beers.

Everyone is saying Tannehill has thrown more INTs than Wilson. He has also thrown the ball 60 more times in 1 less game. Wilson has a running game and his OC doesn't consistently abandon in throughout the game. In fact few of his game Wilson doesn't even throw the ball more than 25 times. I think more than half his games he hasn't. On the other hand, the least amount of throws Tannehill has had in a game is 35. The most Wilson has thrown is 33. With the increase in throws, it raises your INT total because the teams are playing the pass and not stacking the box not trying to stop your pro bowl running back.

That being said Tannehill has thrown a few picks that you simply cannot throw. He has to get better and I hope he will. His offense has to help him out though and start running the ball consistently and quit trying to turn him into Tom Brady/Peyton Manning in his 2nd year.

AGAIN not saying T-Hill is better than Wilson, however I am stating when looking at the #'s it is comparable and yet no one talks about Wilson or RG3 not being the franchise QB. I wouldn't say Wilson is single handedly winning games for his team but he is not losing them either obviously except he did throw an INT on the last drive vs the Colts. T-Hills TO have hurt for sure not negating those as well.

Ill say this. Per game here at the bottom of the ranks in rushing attempts.

20th Saints
21st Bucs
22nd Bears
23rd Rams
24th Cards
25th Vikings
26th Jags
27 Giants
28 Cowboys
29 Dolphins
30th Browns
31 Steelers
32 Falcons

I believe 2 of these teams have winning records and they are towards the top of the list. Which is probably one of the reasons Eli Manning has been turning the ball over at an alarming rate. Hes throwing the ball too much too. It isn't a recipe for success in the NFL. You have to find balance in this league and the Miami Dolphins have yet to find any.

Ha I love that we have to specify when a team has played Jax. It really can't be considered a normal NFL game.

Anyway, let's not also forget RW is a running QB and has rushed almost 3 times more than Tannehill. So additional opportunities for sacks and fumbles come with that. Not to mention his line is in shambles. As much as people on these forums seem to desperately attempt to poke holes in Russell Wilson's game, I just don't think there's anyway it's favorable to Tannehill to compare the two. RW's a top rated QB and has his team at 7-1. His numbers are better. His team success is better. It's just not a good comparison for Ryan. You are living in a dreamworld and rejecting all accountability if you see no difference.
