I'm not exactly thrilled with the Elam signing either. The guy was convicted of sexual assault. Not accused, not arrested, but CONVICTED. If a guy is a first-round talent, maybe you take a risk like that and accept people yelling about hypocrisy. But you don't put your rep on the line for a guy who might have been a 5th or 6th round pick without that problem. I think Saban should have let him walk, too. That's a double standard, but so what? That's the way the world works.

As for McMike, let's see how it all plays out. So far, it's a he-said, she-said thing that ended with his wife having blood on her mouth. But it doesn't look good, and in any event, he certainly shouldn't have put himself in that situation.

I think the difference with Elam is that his actions are (as far as we know) in the past and were resolved before we ever contemplating the possibility of speculating on whether we should scout him. McMike's woes are ongoing. Whether or not he is abusive, his actions are forming a distracting and disruptive pattern.

and he thinks all the black people are innocent, no matter the evidence, and the white guys are guilty. its funny as hell.

you did last year. You just assumed like many people that the man was the aggresser. Men do not report when they are abused. The few who do have it turned around that they are in fact the abuser.

Ever since we signed Elam there has been a small group of radicals that attack any Dolphin that gets in trouble.

The latest is H2Ronnie23 who just joined to launch a series of attacks against McMike. Randy's wife said it was an accident (both of them cleary need some help- I emphasize both!!!) but that isn't good enough for these loons.

Watch out guys there is a group of FemmiNazis out to get the Dolphins over the Elam signing. Don't let them get our season off track:fire:

I dont agree with what both of these guys did, more so with Elam than Randy(hopefully they an both get help.)

I have no problem, with feminist movements and womens rights im all for it, but the extremists can get out of hand.

I have true story it's nothing to be proud of but i got a DWI back when i was 19 or so and had to spend the night in the "drunk tank " well there was 1 other guy there with me who spent all night on his hands and knees crawling because his wife wacked him across the back with a baseball bat wow you should have seen the welp he had ohhhhhhhhh just makes me cring thinking of it .. he was literally in tears i thought she had broken his back lol

what if she cheated on him and it came out when they were arguing, and he threw her stuff out of the car and she got hit with something .??!! There are a million different scenarios that could have played out....I (once again) don't condone spousal abuse, but we have no clue as to what really played out

admit you are turning a blind eye because he is a good player. if this was joe practice squad you wouldn't be so quick to come to the players defense.

We are obviously off track here. Ok there has been men abused by their wives i never heard of it but hey i guess it could happen. The point I am making is that randy should not be getting treated any different that any other wife of husband beater thats all.
