Not a good wideout, agree. But definitely a terrific returner and runner in space. They needed to get him the ball more in creative ways like we see in those highlights.

Terrific runner in space yes, returner no. He’s only a good kick returner because u can’t trust him on punts, and kickoffs are rarely taken out anymore these days…
How did he score all of those TDs on returns? Check out the highlight reel - they weren’t straight line runs.

Doesn’t matter anymore, if you can’t be trusted to catch punts, you’re useless.
Right but you must have missed my post earlier. He fumbled 4 times on returns in 5 years. He had 0 fumbles at all last year. There is this myth that he turned the ball over more than he did. Let’s not let the facts get in the way of a good narrative now!

Fumbles lost or fumbles because that’s not the same thing. If u actually believe his hands are reliable as a punt returner then I’ve got nothing, agree to disagree.
Lost fumbles are what matters. And whether you look at fumbles or lost fumbles, the only year he was bad was as a rookie when he had 4 fumbles with 1 lost. Since then he’s been just fine. Including 0 in 2020. His 2 this year did him in but I don’t know how anyone can dismiss what he’s done as a returner in the scoring and big play department and say he’s not a good returner. All returners fumble by the way.
