Raider Fans Take on Middleton

Yup! I saw our beloved phins play the raiders in oakland on halloween in 2000. (my birthday )... Wasnt a lights out game 16-9 for us. only TD was a rushing score by then called abdul-jabbar...lmao!

I got up and cheered... the entire section reminded me that its OK to cheer for my team... but dont forget where i am!... HAHAHA.... sure beats buffalo!

Just got my Tickets to see the phins play the browns in Cleveland!... Yea baby!:evil:

I was there in 1996 I think it was. Sadly, we lost that game. :cry: But I saw Marino in person so that made it worthwhile.

I remember last year when Robert Gallery couldn't beat out incumbent LT starter Barry Sims and then they put him in Middleton's starting guard spot and he let everyone know his feelings about that, saying something like "he was a 2nd overall so even though I'm playing better than him they're giving him my starting job" or something similar. Later in the season I think they moved Gallery to RT. He definitely speaks his mind. Seems like wolf to me...

The guy is smart, smart enough to say all the right things. For example:



Middleton, calling his first day of practice under coach Nick Saban "my hardest day in football in 12 years," was not concerned while waiting for offers this summer.

"I was sitting back waiting for the right time," Middleton said. "I'm old, man. I don't want to waste my last years in the league going 4-12, so I wanted to pick somebody that was good and try to get me back to the Super Bowl."

When reminded the Dolphins were indeed 4-12 last season, Middleton whipped out his aqua and orange pom-poms.

"Not this year. It can't be. Just watching the people they got on defense and the people they got on offense, it's just a better team," Middleton said.

As I said in another thread, I admire him for spending time with the fans after Bucs training camp while everyone else (except Dilfer) was scrambling for the locker room.
