Ramsey Trade Becoming Problematic?

I believe the narrative of Greer asking him for a pay cut is incorrect.
I've posted about this before, but these supposed issues with McDaniel came up after Ramsey's agent met with the team. Sure, it's technically possible that Grier asked him to take a paycut, but I don't understand how anyone thinks this is more likely than Ramsey asking for more guaranteed money, and getting upset when Grier balked. Look at his history.

To top it off, we saw him trailing the better receivers he faced last year, as well as the business decision he made on the Deebo TD. There's a reason that there is no bidding war for Ramsey: the league doesn't think he's worth that contract for the price of a draft pick, and some teams would probably rather play him at Safety. That's not happening for 20 million a year, not with his attitude, and not with the tape he put up last year.

It’s widely known that Ramsey and McDaniel had issues,
No it isn't. Much like 'Grier asked Ramsey to take a pay cut,' 'Ramsey and McDaniel had issues' has never been credibly reported by one single person. There is literally not one single shred of evidence to suggest that's true. It's all rumor and innuendo that does not, in any way shape or form, originate from a credible source.

Still no deal. See article below. If there was a big market for Ramsey, he would be gone by now. I think time is not in Miami's favor. The more time that goes by, the more the league knows there is not a market for him. The problem is not the player as much as it is the contract. It seems that to move Ramsey at this point, we will have to eat money and not get much at all in return, maybe a 7th rounder for optics or something of that ilk. Then the problem becomes, what do you do? Embarrass ourselves with a nothing deal, or hold on to Ramsey, when he doesn't want to be here. He can just sort of half-ass it on the field, and be a cancer in the locker room, because he doesn't want to be here, which is also a problem. So what do you do? Then at the same time, they are in a similar boat, with less $ at stake with Jonnu Smith. And I am not sure what exactly is going on with Seiler. There is always something with these guys. It never feels clean and smooth, for lack of a better way to describe the operation here:

The article you posted literally supports absolutely nothing that you posted.

Why are you just making things up?

These athletes need to stop signing contracts they don’t intend to honor. Our military sign a much cheaper contract and sometimes give their lives for it. They don’t get let out of their contract for not liking their boss or coworkers. Translation: athletes ain’t shi+

I don't know this, so how do you? He said he did not want to play here. Maybe a novel solution, ask him to take a pay cut with a substantial signing bonus. We are going to have to pay some of it anyway might as well go ahead and do it. When he refuses, if he refuses, suspend him without pay. The players union will scream bloody murder but you have a grievance. He wants out of Miami, we want to accommodate, if he won't play let him sit. Conduct detrimental to the team. Fight it out in court. Probably would not work but might force the issue to a resolution.
That would take a sack in management.
