I guess my question was since everyone here seems to think it's a given he's already faked an injury in Jacksonville -- if he does it again here, could that possibly give us a fighting chance in arbitration?
If you look at the process, the NFL commissioner (or his appointee) is the arbitrator.
At first glance, one might think that would be to the team's benefit. It really isn't. As a collective, the owners are deathly afraid of pi$$ing of the NFLPA. Better to sacrifice one team a few million dollars than to have the union be irritated for the next CBA negotiations.
IOW, it becomes a matter of "politics" instead of right or fair.
