Randy Mac arrested in Augusta, GA......

So do you think Saban will make an Example out of him or is he going to coddle him because without McMichael you would have gone 0-16 last year and you wont do very well this year.

the ones i go to, noone seems to care. or even knows.

i jsut remember YESTERDAY arguing the point that saban will cut the bums for doing somethign stupid, but ignore the more important players who do something REALLY REALLY stupid. R. McMac's name came up a few times. but i was told the situation was "not how it seems". and now this.....

The only thing REALLY REALLY stupid is acting like this was a REALLY REALLY stupid incident. That and using the words "REALLY REALLY" for emphasis.

I think we should rework his contract. Randy is a great TE and we should be able to get him for cheap now. He needs to go to counseling or else get a divorce. Two incidents in the past year doesnt look great for Randy..... too bad he is a top 6 TE in the NFL. :shakeno:

Last time, Randy's wife ended up being the one doing the hitting while he was calling 911. But there are eye witnesses this time around, so who knows what'll happen. I'm pretty sure, though, that no matter what happened, with both of them saying it was an accident, charges will be dropped. They've got their story straight from the beginning this time around.

I'm looking forward to this being swept under the rug, as bad as that sounds.

read it again. i was not calling the McMac thing "really really" stupid.

what else could i have been talking about??

maybe a star player quiting on your team to smoke pot, eventually leading to a 4 win season....

Cawannas a pain in the *** I wouldn't be suprised if she started it.... lay off McMIke

according to a few fin fans, he was never convicted of beating his wife last time, so we cant hold that agents him. well they are wrong, and i do hold it agenst him.

one of the fins best offensive players... a wife beater.

very disapointed.

you are a fing moron...sorry had to say it...I'm 100% sure that you are stating this because he plays for the FINS...no doubt you would change your tune if it was a JiLLLLs player.

you don't know all the facts...he should have avoided the situation but he didn't hit her with his fist or smack her...it was a piece of cardboard...

Go Fins!!!

If he has a decent season, I just can't see him coming cheap especially w/ Drew as his agent.

im not saying that because i am a bills fan.

im saying it because im a man.

there are always details in every situation. but i dont care if he hit her in the face with a rubber hose. still domestic violence to me. and honestly i dont even believe in domestic violence. its just violence. i dont know how it came to be, that its less of a crime to beat your wife, than it is to beat someone on the street....

The point is you rework his contract NOW. Take advantage of his personal problems and negative press. You dont wait til he has a breakout season and wants top 3 TE money at the end of the season....... You are right, he wont come cheap at the end of the season if he performs well, thats why resigning him NOW when his value is at its lowest is a good personnel move for the team.

On a side note, personally I think this is pathetic for Randy. However I want to win. I dont have to like him as long as he makes the TEAM better. The NFL is a business, a business that harps on winning and when you have a window to make your franchise better, you take it.

You can sign him to a tight contract with numerous clauses in it punishing him if this happens again or if he sees jail time etc.

What was I thinking? Obviously, that's what you meant. It's perfectly clear. You certainly have a gift for communicating your thoughts so succinctly.

It's okay to bloody a WOMAN's nose w/ a foreign object then. If he used a hammer instead of his fist that would be okay then.
