Randy Mac arrested in Augusta, GA......

Honestly for all you "fans", if you don't know the truth, stay out of it. Randy is not an off the field problem, let it be at that.

The truth is..

a) He was arrested after midnight

b) he was throwing his wife's belongings out of his 1984 Cadillac Coupe de Ville.

c) His wife needed to be treated at the scene for her injuries

This isn't normal behavior.

Exactly. People are ready to kick one of our more talented players to the curb. I wonder if some of you would treat your friends this way if they had a problem.

Me, I would try to help that friend in any way possible. I'm sure McMichael's friends and family will do the same for him.

LOL I would try to help him.

BUt at the same time I wouldn't be naive to what he is doing.

I am sure if this was Donald Lee you would have no problem cutting or trading him =O)

My mother was abused. If these incidents were happening with my mother, I would be much happier.

Until McMichael actually beats his wife, it is an insult to all battered women to call him a wifebeater.

I disagree. I think we've had a GREAT offseason. The two arrests are just minor bumps in the road in the grand scheme of things.

But I agree, we need football back already. :)
I agree Muck, other then those two issues we had hardly any real big problems in the offseason. Will Poole was probably the biggest issue having lost him for the season, but a few teams have already suffered season ending injuries including the Bills. Williams got arrested and Saban dealt with him, so there is no longer a problem. McMichael might need some help, but I wouldn't say it is a huge downfall. At most maybe he gets suspended a game or two. At least we don't have a star player holding out for more money like a few other teams are going through(Philly with Owens). We got some good FA pickups, a great draft, a great coaching staff. So yeah, no problems here.

He's one of the top 5 TE's in the league for that he gets a free pass (BS or not) He needs to work this stuff out or get a divorce. Now I am for letting him back as what he does on his own time is none of my damn buisness and i would be a hypocrite if i said any other thing, with that said I'm not liking the wife beater tag that is placed on him, the first time yeah, but this one still needs to come out more before we tag him as a habitual wife beater.

Randdy get some help, pay hte fines, keep your crap to yourself, and get on the field and perfrom.. this is why some guys would just do better if they were in offseason training all offseason.. he wouldn't have been in a place to screw up... Oh well welcome to the raiders of the AFCE LOL

Youhave a point.

However I will say this, like I said if those witnesses are telling the truth yes he is an abuser and he is scum.

If there recolection of the incident isn't accurate then you can just chalk it up as a smi-harmless lovers quarrel.

I am not labeling him anything yet. If he did it he is scum, if he didn't do it the way it's depicted then the guy just has anger problems.

Now to those of you trying to justify his side and say how wives can't be abusive either. Ummm, he is a pro athlete, he is stronger then her so there in no way would be a fair fight.

Did you know that if you are a blackbelt in martial arts and you get into a simple fight in a bar and use your martial arts and kill or severely hurt the guy you will be the one getting charged even if it was self defense?

When you are in a superior position and use your skills or strength in a way that can obviously harm a inferior opposition you are considered a lethal weapon.

So it's not sexist. It's just the fact that he has no business hitting her. It's one thing to try and restrain her and it's another if you hurt her from shoving or pushing her off you but in no way do you ever hit or punch or attack her.

yet if you were in a bar and someone started a fight with you and it is proven that you were only trying to defend yourself and didn't use unjustified force, no charges would stick.

By all means I'm not attacking Saban. I asked if Saban's justice is blind to those with more important roles on his team. We will soon find out.

indeed we will, I hope it is fair and not blind. I will wait for better details before I condem him, however, no matter these details he made a mistake not getting away from her the first time. I have a friend who was forced to only meet his ex for children exchange in public places with cameras to protect himself.

If he is hitting his girlfriend you can call it what you want. It's just a play on words. How about looking at the clear signs and STOPPING a wife beater before he gets started!

Here's the mug shot

You know what I am acting in the moment here.

You are absolutely right here I am jumping the gun.

Everything should be done to help Randy before you completely say he is a loss cause.

I mean everyone just bailed him out and said he didn't do anything wrong the first time. Which is understandable you don't wanna think him to be capable of it.

Now this is the 2nd time. Yes by all means help him and don't bail on him you are right. I will digress and take back my cut or trade him remarks.

At this point the team needs to do what they did with Ricky. Offer help with Counseling. Maybe they can help him out. Like I said these instances have always happened with drinking. Maybe he just needs to get help with drinking.

However, if it continues to happen, you can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped and at that point you have to let them go.

What is he doing exactly? Beating his wife? I think that's a bit of a stretch from this report, or the previous one. As I said, he may indeed have a problem, or maybe his wife is just a complete b**** and purposely pokes and probes McMike til the point where he reacts physically, a drama queen. Randy could have a problem, hell they both could have a problem, and there is places where they both can get help for these problems.

It's a shame that these guys with all their talent and money just have to go and look for ways to screw everything up.
